Hi,I ordered the Jumping Skyress online and will get it shortly, hopefully sometime next week. From what I heard, it is just like a regular bakugan, perhaps with an ability card that makes it able to jump to a different gate card while in play.

I just got one the other day. I didnt even look at the card LOL The bakugan marble isnt anything special tho. I thought maybe the feet would flip out automatically on this one making it “jump” but they dont. Not sure why its a special attack as i cant find anything special about it other than the pearl white color scheme. Maybe it is the card that i didnt look at? lol

Well my cards i just look at the number at the bottom and see if its one i still need for the collection, if it is i add it in an dif it isnt i add it to my doubles stack. So i know it has to be a card that is part of the normal sets… but i got no clue which card it was Im sure it had to be from the regular 1-48 card set )

Hmm never mind, I just opened my jumping skyress and there wasn't any special card in there either :(.

I got one, and the cards do not include any specal ablitys, the ball is normal and rolls/opens normaly. I've searched everywhere, it seems someone did in fact get a responce from someone offical on it, but they apprently did not know eather. I (think) that its just an ablity that might be refered to latter in cards or the game, but I've seen no evadance of this. its very frsustrating, also if it IS a specal ablty of the ball that will be included in the game latter, there is no way to tell from the looks of the ball, making it very hard to convince your oppenent that indeed, it was a specal ball in the first place. HOWEVER. the top of the head does have a part that sometimes will flip open , its not magnetic so its not spring loaded, i think with the right spin, it could be possible that it (might) catch on the side of a card, and "jump/flip" or roll in an odd way due to that part of the head. But really, they should have just said what the bleep jumping is! >_<

Actually the flip open head comes even with the non-jumping package. I have a Storm skyress and it does the same thing with the head. I believe Dragonoid has the head thing as well.

thats… gah. Then there really isnt any way to tell that this thing gets a specal ablity / and or (possiby ) consedered for “specal treatment” at all :/ They could have put “jumping” somewhere on the ball.

I can pretty much tell you that the flip o the head is what makes it “jump” but you have to angle it right. It is a sometimes useful, sometimes detrimental feature. You guys are kinda new to this if the "Special Attack" series is the first and only time you've ever seen Skyress, Preyas, Hydranoid and Delta Drago.

yeah its new to me. but i've been a gamer for ages. so, this sort of unexplained rulling irrates me, i wish the offial page would update.

Urm I got a reply from LordDarkus regarding how to make it jump:

Hi there!It is quite easy! Fold out the little feet at the bottom of the Bakugan and then try spinning the Bakugan backwards while pushing it fowards at the same time. An easy way to do that is to put pressure on the Bakugan so it spins backwards but launches forward. This will cause the feet to hit the table and jump forward!Good luck!

I don't quite understand it myself or tried it xD. Admin do you know what he means? Can you make a video tutorial

i get the bakugan to “jump” a little doing that ith out the feet out…. lame LOL

By 'jump' do they mean moving like 1/8th of an inch when u hit the tail, so it's like a teeter totter?

take your finger on the top of the ball and push down as you kinda move your finger back as well to sorta put a back spin on it…. the ball will shoot out and “jump”Not sure if this is what he means or not
