Their benefits don't seem all that great considering most of the stuff we've already got, and the rest is either uneeded or easy to find by just going to the main site (which nearly everyone does anyway)

No, no and more freaking no. Basically what they're asking for is to use this successful forum/site to advertise and boost their crappy one. They realize that this site is more popular than theirs and want it to either 1) pump up their site or 2) lose popularity trying, thus making their site #1. There is nothing they're offering us that we don't already have or have easy access to on their junk site, so what's in it for us? We already get information faster then they do, so we can't benefit from that either. I sincerely hope you didn't agree to this BJ.-DB

“Bleeding edge” as opposed to “Cutting edge”? Sounds fishy.Yeah, I'd say you need to make some demands back!Tell them that if they are to partner with us, they have a responsibility to keep their news as up to date as we keep ours (Heck, Baku-Con isn't even on their website yet!) and to have quality control matching that of this site in order for us to consider partnering with them. Also, make it so that they have no say in how our site is run or what the rules are. Most of the "Benefits" they list aren't really "Benefits" at all. We have most everything they do. Unless they offer something truly concrete, like allow members of our site to participate in things like surveys or suggestions, interviews with Spinmaster employees (real ones, that is), or sanctioned contests, THEN we might be talking.I think it's true, our site is better and they want to take advantage of it.

My thoughts exactly. I think they should also offer up some prizes for our own contests that way we don't have to reach out of pocket AND people who actually deserve a prize can win instead of it being random. And like I said already and Kohdok emphasized on, their benefits don't help us at all.
