Got a Spin Dragonoid yesterday, bought it from Ernie, and it spun once or twice when opening then stopped.

I think these are poorly made.

I dont have a spin dragonoid, but I have a spin ravenoid. To close mine, I'd have to close the top part, and spin the bottom part to 'lock' it.

sorry to here that, usually i had to hold it closed and then give it one quarter to one half a turn to “lock” it in place. When i was ready to roll it i would rotate the bottom half a couple “clicks”. The spinning happens so fast i could only tell it did it by the way the bakugan ended up facing

Yeah, something is stupid about the design… Once things settle down in my house and I find some screwdrivers to take out these stupid tamper-proof screws, I'll post a how-to.

lol, i have taken them apart before , took me forever to get one of the springs back in place tho. I just used a small flat head screw driver and it caught the edges enough to unscrew it.

Finished, finally. Sorry about all the blank lines, I'm keeping them as space for photos.Start with the bakugan open. First, I used a size 2 (dunno what this is, maybe mm?) screwdriver from an electronics tool kit to remove the two bottom screws. The screwdriver slips a lot, so I would suggest if you're going to be disassembling many bakugan, find the real screwdriver. One failsafe against losing the screws... Hold the bakugan such that if you drop the screws, the magnet will catch them :)Before removing the bottom hemisphere of the ball, turn it right-side up so you won't lose the contents.

AWESOME tutorial. The originals all wind clockwise and thus spin counter-clockwise.

      Any luck fixing that Ravenoid?

Ended up not having to work on it..... it started working again on its own.

My question is… after “repairing” your bakugan does it work 100% of the time?My instances of Spin Dragos... they will occasionally stop working (normally when it's wound too far) but all I've ever needed to do to fix them was give them another click, or if it wouldn't spin for anything, tug on the right wing clockwise while on a card, and it releases all the tangled up tension in the spring and sends the thing spinning away.I tihnk I may need to open up my Subterra one though. I twisted it up way too much before I found out how to take proper care of them. XP

Mine works 100% of the time, but that's because I don't spin it more than at most four complete rotations, and I only wind it clockwise.
