Drain Color, Spectrum Null Gate, Overeager – The Bakugan with the highest printed G-Power loses its Attributes. If there is a tie, then both Bakugan lose their attributes.http://my.bakugan.com/orca/forum/--2008-11-04-15-0.htm#topic/--2010-01-03-8.htmLord Darkus:According to basic gameplay, once a battle starts (two Bakugan stand on a card, the card is flipped over) the Gate Card instructions are first read then G-Power Bonuses processed. So, this card would strip the Bakugan with the highest G-Power of its associated Attribute for the whole match. Therefore, the Bakugan wouldn't receive the Gate Bonus or any Bonuses from Ability Cards or Attribute Changes there after.Logically, an Ability Card can be played prior to the Gate Card being flipped over which may instruct the brawlers to apply Bonuses or alter the match accordingly. However, once that Gate Card is initiated the attribute stripping is set forth.Lastly, this does not strip anything else from the Bakugan, such as Special Treatment/Attack powers. This only pertains to its associated attribute. Before hearing this, I have always thought that their Attribute would only be taken away from them until the end of the battle. But Lord Darkus states that it goes for the whole match thereafter. And on a side note, Pearl/Frost Bakugan having their Attribute stripped away in this way, would still be able to get the highlighted bonus like the Special Edition Naga.I'm still waiting for him to confirm if being Attribute-less goes for the whole match, or just until that battle is over.
