To set up for the Ability card "Unexpected Guest".

All it does though is make your bakugan stand. If you want to do that use dan's launcher for a pyrus(I have 2 dan's launchers)

Blinding Gate is a “Lowest G-Power wins” type of card I believe. Its an okay combo but I guess you don't understand it.

if you play Monarus on blinding gate first off, then your opponent will expect lowest g wins, and might try to use attractor or Magnetic action on you.if you lose then play Runo's Throw (which allows you to play one of your used pyrus bakugan) then after your opponent has already played on your card you surprise him/her with Monarus when they have a high g bakugan on your gate.

Oh, okAnother thing, (if you have 1) couldn't you play random power with preyas II or preyas change wheel, or elfin instead of unexpected guest? Other than that great strategy! 😉 And stronger, I have blinding gate, and I know its lowest g wins

Then I don't understand how you couldn't understand the combo.

I just didn't get why you would use unexpected guest instead of something better. 😉

i have a very good strategy, but i haven't tried it so it may not work. You need to be in a situation where your pyrus bakugan is about to lose the battle.Bakugan needed:Pyrus bakuganPyrus matalfencerCards needed:Rip tide (ability)When you are about to lose the pyrus bakugan and have nothing to do about it throw down the metalfencer and change your abtribute to haos. Then use the rip tide ability, so when you lose the bakugan it goes back into the unused pile not used pile or whatever...

i don't know. the best ability cards for pyrus would be death from above, circle of fire, or legends of fire.

I kinda found an example of this for others that don't have stand off.Instead of Stand-off, use Quick charge. When your bakugan are both the same g power (0g)They both can't use ability cards,So its like the same card 😉

I don't know about used pile or when you're losing the battle...

There was a topic about the Quick Charge, about whether or not its effect would work or not because technically neither player meets the requirements for lowest G's. And even in the event where it does work and neither player can play Abilities, you would have to play a Trap to change your Attribute to beat Sub Terra. Whereas in Stand Off Pyrus is the highest and so you would only be forcing them to play a Trap if they even had the right one.

I know stand off is better,Its just for people that don't have the card can do this also 😉
