timeline tiem:[hr]2008December 20th, 2008: Forum was created as a request from site-goers to be able to discuss topics more thoroughly.[hr]2009January - May 2009: BB soars in popularity with the advent of the new video game, New Vestroia, and an overall hype for Bakugan. Uneventful otherwise. May of the now dead pioneers of the franchise came from this era.June - August, 2009: Members start to make random chats to be able to improve communications for socialization and brawling. Banning starts to be commonplace, with many outbreaks such as TASTE (a long-dead grammar-nazi group), colorful stupidity, and overall lack of ethics. Forum rules are made stricter as a result. Bakugan is at an all time high, and anticipation soars for the game and next sets. Many of the long, notorious friendships were made in this summer.September, 2009: Rule breaking becomes exponentially high, and administration deals with this by electing moderators and tweaking the rules. The site is sold to BJ Wright of SEO Intern. and the congregation is shocked in both fear and excitement. Many of the prominent members of the site join together and create a new suburb of the community based on Skype. Bakugan fans are on the edge of their seat with the release of Bakusteel and the very near video game.October - November, 2009: First tastes of Season 3, B3, and Bakucon keep the fans excited along with the release of the video game. New moderators come, and the community is in a sound state of peace. However, tension grows between the staff and suburb skype community as the community gets a taste of what's to come.December, 2009: The end of the year comes with many new excitements and events. The Bakugan series takes a new turn with the beginning of Bakucon, and many surprises keeps the fans waiting on the new season. In an effort to keep the community clean, staff elect a new admin of the Skype suburb-community to dilute tension unintentionally. This decision was regretted, however, when the first of many terror-inducing attacks happen. [hr]2010January, 2010: The war between the staff and rebellious members of the skype suburb-community begin with the infamous take over of BB. Many of the leaders of this operation took positions as admins (with help a newly elected admin), demoted current power holders, and made many changes to the community, many of which can be seen today (Messed up link tree, last four smilies, name changes, etc.). The original owner of the site reverts the site to normal and the current owner introduces two new admins who would later be thought of as despots. Bakugan popularity is still high and many BB members took a regional win at Bakucon, boosting moral for the site.February - April, 2010: Season 3 and it's accompanying MMO are unveiled to the fanbase and anticipation increases to gregarious proportions. Many of the admins were inactive during this period, which lead to some mods attempting to lead BB, failing miserably. This period was fairly quiet and tension was infinitesimal.May - June, 2010: The admins return with an exorbitant behavior, and tension rises again. Trolling becomes very prominent, and a new generation of leaders take role in their respective stages. The war rises yet again, this time with even more members taking sides in it. Bakugan Dimensions is released, and Spin Master starts to fall into their infamous "hole of stupidity."July - November, 2010: The tension breaks and the two sides clash. Trolling becomes the main source of entertainment, debate, and hilarity as Bakugan takes a rough hit in popularity. The staff is constantly challenged to take role in these issues, and refuse to do so in the terms in which they were presented. The Skype suburb-community gradually becomes less a Bakugan-advocating community to a general one. Many terror-inducing attacks ensue. New sites such as ArenaSix emerge from the ashes of Bakugan and gain popularity.December, 2010: As the war reaches its apex, the last attack on BB occurs on December 12, 2010. The site becomes permanently damaged in both collateral and popularity. Bakugan gains popularity with the advent of Season 4.[hr]2011 - 2012January, 2011: Members leave the ruins of the site, tired of the staff and attacks. Popularity exponentially decays and many of the remaining members try to scrummage up what is left. Bakugan is at a stand-still, fixing to enter the next season.February, 2011 - Today: The site sleeps in an quiet environment, with multiple attempts to awake it. Bakugan slowly withers in the midst of a terrible season, with little outlook for the next season. [hr]Is history doomed to repeat itself? Is there hope for BB? That lies in the hands of the people who stand here today.(ps: tried to be as non-biased as possible, will go into more detail in a revision.)
