Alright, if you play two abilities, then your opponent plays Ventus to switch the gate to Stand Off, does it negate the abilities, or do they remain active? It says no abilities may be played, BUT THOSE ABILITIES WERE ALREADY PLAYED BEFORE THE EFFECT OF STAND OFF.

Here is a picture of Stand-Off.B001I3GO30-2T.jpgRead the print on it carefully."No ability cards may be played in this battle."

The ability cards that were played already will not be canceled but after doing the switch both players can't play ability card anymore.

K, what would happen is that since ventus is a play at the beginning of a battle card, then those two abilities could have never been played, and you would still have free range of abilities afterwards, even though you activated them, thats what you have to do, because players go in different intervals, so one may activate abilities hastily and not even know there opponent were to counter.
