The Pokemon manga is pretty good, not like the anime. And of course, theres so much more in the manga than the anime. I'd choose Pokemon over Bakugan right now.

Pokemon – Over all as a franchhise… Great variety of monsters, Roark, better games, better organization, Roark, An amazing manga series (like stronger pointed out).So even without that... I'd like to be in the Pokemon universe.. you can do so much more than just battle your monsters. I'd be a pokemon.. scientist type.. >_>... Plus Pokemon has Ghost types!Oh! An there's this awesome Gym leader... he kind of looks like a girl, and his name is Roark...
