You know what makes me pokemon emo? I keep wondering if next gen will have a pal park... Though, something tells me that Nintendo will be sticking to the DS, and the next gen will be DSi exclusive, to take advantage of its power.... But how would the "Pal Park" work, in transfering pokemon?

The DSi has is the same system as the DS. If it goes onto one system it will go onto the other it sort of relates to the Wii being the GC as well except this example doesn't go both ways.

Lol clearly you've failed to understand the Palpark system then. The DSi does not have a GameBoy Advance slot, therefore cannot Palpark.

How would it work, even if they Do it with two DS. You can't just have it transfer from the one, wirelessly, or something. You could probably steal peoples pokemon, that way, by transfering them when they weren't looking, lol. I'm thinking Time Machine.

Time Machine? Same way it worked in R/G/B/Y to G/S/C. In the next gen, you enter the time machine, but you can only bring in pokemon, items, and moves that have existed in the previous gens, and just trade. So no new pokemon, items, or moves.

Oh that time machine, I thought you were talking about something else. But like I said before, theres no need if they keep remaking the games.

Well this all started because someone was saying how you'll still be able to PalPark on the DSi at least thats what I got from what they said. And anyways, you can't trade directly from the GBA games to the DS games because there is no way to connect them to trade like that so far and I'm assuming the software is too different from each other. For the Time Machine to work, you would at least need to be able to connect the 2 different generation games in the first place. And we're back to the DSi doesn't have a GBA slot meaning you can't Palpark and it will be needless to PalPark if they keep remaking the games.

OK I might be in a pissy mood or somehting but you guys are so dumb right now. Why would we need Pal Park when you can trade dierectly with HG and SS? AND OBVIOUSLY D/P/P HAVE PAL PARK!Then there is some dude saying that they'll make a DSi exclusive version of the game, which is the stupidest thing I have ever heard seeing as THEY ARE THE SAME EXACT SYSTEM! (Apprently you guys didn't get this form the last perosn who said it)My goodness gracious... *Puts up flame shield*

Wow, Yoshi.I said Next Gen(Fifth Gen). I was speculating how douchey it would be if there was no way to transfer your pokemon from the 4th gen to the 5th gen. And the DSi has nearly a three times more powerful than the previous DS models. They said before it was released that there are going to be DSi exclusive games for the DSi, that utilize the DSi's pumped up hardware. The same thing happened with Crystal Version, when the GBC came out. It could not be played on any previous Game Boy because it needed the stronger processor of the GBC.Before ya start spouting off, know what you're talking about before you start calling people names.

I played Pokemon Crystal on my Gameboys...Also what they meant by "Exclusive DSi games" was the "DSi ware" crap. Not actual games, although they'd probably make quite a bit of money that way, ya know?BTW for 5th gen it could work like the time machiene in G/S/CAnd yeah, I'm sorry, just a little annoyed, frustrated, pissy, ect. I didn't call anyone names though, did I? I know I said dumb but I said ATM meaning just for the time being.
