i say the names are in rememberance of RBY so it be natural to dump gem/stone/metal themes and go back to the color schemes and i say BUG LEDGENDARY!

I like the idea of the new games, but I don't like the names. I could bet a million bucks when I tell my friend (that's black) the first thing he'll say is “That's racist.”

exactly. i will end up getting both eventually, im not sure what one to start with. I wonder is black will be focused on a dark legendary and white will be focused on a normal legendary.

Awesome names are awesome. Hopefully they don't screw up the boy character like they did with the one in D/P/Pt. (My opinion, don't flame meh.)

These titles just further my belief that Diamond and Pearl were the penultimate games. I mean, to me, Black and White seem so finite, so complete. I'm not saying these will be the last Pokemon games ever, but I think probly the last games in the format we all know and love. What with the 3DS coming out next year, I think a complete overhaul is immenant, and Black and White will be a dying memory of this timeless gameplay style. I think we may even see a cross-system generation, with these games coming out on the DS, and the third game, which I think will either be Scarlet or Crimson, two names Gamefreak also copyrighted, may be on the 3DS. I believe we know the 3DS wll have backwards compatibility if I'm not mistaken, so this may be plausible, or if anything the dreaded/anticipated Ruby/Sapphire remakes. Anyways, that's just my 2 cents.

Too many comments on this. Their Japanese, Pokemon Black and Pokemon White are perfect names for the 5th Gen. We don't even know about the story line, which may lead to the names. I can see the name being changed though in America because of racism you guys are blabbering about, but if they were changed, it would suck, like how they had Red and Blue, not Red and Green. There's no need for change, unless some retards will really screw Nintendo over”Because it hurts my feelings” crap. I tell all my friends, first thing they think is racist. What is wrong with us Americans. I really doubt the Japanese are like this. And they can't end Pokemon with Sinnoh, really. I really don't Pokemon too end, even though, they will run out of ideas, but who knows. But still as for the 6th Gen on the 3DS, it's a long way off. I was kinda hoping for Pokemon Topaz and Quartz. But now that I think about it, it fits the 6th Gen in a way. For some reason, I feel like Black and White are going to tell the past of Pokemon even more. Seeing as how they've continue more with the Generations, now with the Creator Pokemon. It would really explain all of this, where you could potentially go back in time or something. And the past of the all of the past regions, but now, I'm rambling off. inb4 tl;dr
