As I played the DS version I was quite preplexed and a bit dismayed at the cards:Copped Copper (green card)(skips Copper gate highest G wins)andSwiped Silver (green card)(skips Silver gate highest G wins)The other issue is that, even if you do have the highest G if you lose the mini-game ... you just... lose.wah?!

HA! Wait til you see prevention and the Power Swap cards. But yes, as the game was aimed towards a younger audience and they thought that more serious gamers wouldn't be playing the ngame they put in the minigames to make up for the lack of… well… talent of 8 year olds. That's also why in the PS3 version the minigames don't really make that big of a difference. The highest youcan get from the Ps3 minis is 300g's herein in the DS version I managed to beat a bakugan over 1000g's with my 300g Manion in a scratch battle.

Well the only way to is when you're facing someone via wireless connection. Just both agree not to play the video games and you'll be fine.

Those people who say the minigames are easy have never tried getting Dual Hydranoid. The AI is on a much more human level after you beat the game. Otherwise the game is too static and your underleveled bakugan would just get crushed and you'd be complaining about that instead. Believe me, the game would have been much worse without the mini games.As for the cheap ability cards, don't forget your opponent can use them, too, but a lot of the cheap ones are hard to use. The only Green card I consider "cheap" is Imbalance. I'm no casual gamer and I enjoyed it.
