monster quest just had a 2 hour special episode about them searching for the abominable snowman.

yeah they found that the habitat in the Himalayas can support a large primape, and that a lot of the food sources that other large primapes eat are there. the found a mummified hand, and they concluded that it is very possible for the Yeti to be there.
