I really dislike when game makers just fail to make sure there product is made right. Sure, people make errors, but you should have playtesters, checks, double checks to prevent any card from slipping past. As both a gamer and someone thats judged events in the past, I can tell you there is nothing more frustrating then having an offical rulling posted on a webpage. This meens you as a gamer or the judge must print this out, to have on you at all times when playing tourments. I've been in pourly judged events when the judge simply refused to lission to reasion and after the fact when I did prodcue the rulling it was too late. When I run an event it makes it hard to stop and anounce that (x) card no longer works as printed. Now, I'm fine with baning cards from play - or even sets, this is fine because it moves the game along. If too meny people are winning with a card, you as a judge can ban it in your tourment, even if its not officaly baned. Thats fine because it forces people to think outside the box.It just irrates me to no end when game designers start pulling rullings out of thin air. These sort of issues make a game no fun to play or to judge. I supose its irravalent as the Toys R Us here doesnt run any event regardless, and the nearest gamer store is too far away to get to. If we here are to belive any rullings - they have to be on the offical page. No "oh yeah I got an email...." unless you want to screen shot it, I've sent in questions and never got any answer so... point is, emails can be made up. Ultmantly, its up to Admin what rulls to set forth when the aprentice thing is launched.I'm just writing because these errats allways have irrated me as a gamer.

Why was this moved to Bakugan discussion when it's more so aimed at a general dislike of all revisions or lack of rules?Anyway, I completely agree. I've been through enough headaches in gaming.Thank the maker that as far as Bakugan goes, with TRU's awful little "tournaments", they've come to me as a judge at my store for any discrepancies or questions with cards or how to play in general. Spin Master has done such an awful job with the rules. I have a feeling the game designers have it all worked out, but it's just their horrible PR that is not getting the word out to us!

in the same vein , i dont think game stores / hoby shops will have tourments – it is extreamly hard to stock this mercandance in a small store, plus fighitng walmart/target etc has always been an issue for gamer stores – at least with card games they can go msrp where as big stores typicaly mark up (even walmart) not that i can even get to the gamer store here, and the croud isnt right for it anyway. gahhh fish biskets

I have a friend who is trying to get a gaming store off the ground here in NJ. If it happens we will be holding Bakugan Tournaments as well as the standard card/tabletop/video games. That is a problem I found though... Not a lot of hobby stores are really that kid friendly.I know kids are a whole 'nother breed form adult gamers, but I don't understand why most stores exclude games that attract a lot of kids. I can see if $ or space is a problem as far as stocking it...but then having an event will most likely boost sales and gets a more diverse amount of customers into your store. And no.. as far as prices you can't compete with the retail crowd, but by my understanding of hobby stores they generally mark up prices on rares to make up for it. When you have something collectible, certain people are always willing to shell out cash. But now we're just getting off topic...
