Ok, so now that all these new B3 packs are showin up, it looks like we will never see a normal lookin bakugan ever again! Ok is it reall a crime if i want a non-translucent, non-bronze, non-steel, non-neon, non-crystal, non-watever bakugan! I like normal bakugan!

I agree. I brought this up on another topic yesterday, but I don't think it'll last. For the next few sets there'll be strictly Special Treatments, but I hope SM doesn't go too far with it…

I do'hateSpcial Treatments but havig complete packs of them jus seemsso stupid. I mean whats the fun in collecting if a certain variant of a Bakugan is available all over the place? They probably re just gettingkids to buy even more becasue they like the way they look. *Sigh* At least I have a good amount of regular bakugan already…I guess

Well SM is all about the money now. If they actually were concerned about the game then they could have started clarifying how some cards and marbles are played and provided this information from their site. As of now they don't seem to care as kids or collectors are mostly happy with just buying and collecting bakugan. A good example of a solid franchise is pokemon, yugioh and magic: the gathering. If you go to the website of these franchises or even fan sites you'll get access to a lot of information and support for their product and will notice a very solid fanbase. This is because the creators of the game provide good support for it, rulings are posted, localized events everywhere, info on upcoming products…etc. What SM has been doing lately is trying to create as much products as they can and sell as fast as they can. It is a little sad right now because I see a lot of potential of this game with the toy and card format but SM has been very focused on making $$.

I think it all really depends on what Bakugan it is. Some look AMAZING IN BakuSteel while some others they made in BakuSteel are just plain stupid.
