All I got to say is holy shit this episode was amazing.I liked it better then the Infinity Drago VS Naga or Maxus Helios VS Maxus Drago finale.I wonder why when Brotes was reprogrammed he lost his emotions until Gus threw him away.Vulcan and Elico still had their emotions intact after reprogramming wtf.Blast Elico was extremely awesome looking,and Vulcan is extremely loyal.Vulcan's eyes was unexpected kind off looked like a serpent.I'm thinking their is more to Spectra then overthrowing the King and creating the ultimate bakugan and I see him as a fickle vigilante instead of a villain not necessary a hero either.

I really liked this episode. Gus is just a little too into Spectra, but dammit he is a good friend. He has real guts, seeing him take the king hostage the way he did was badass. Also, anyone else feel weird watching the Vexos sitting around eating?

They'd be dead.Back on topic: Elico, Hexados, Vulcan then Gus........... out of all the "honorable" anime deaths, IMO, their deaths are the most "honorable" in the history of anime.On second thought, I don't think we've seen the last of them. Most people who havent seen episode 39 will probably not believe this, but Gus, and his bakugan die in it. He is shot into space after losing to King Zenoheld. the first time i saw it was when it aired on cartoon network last saturday.i was sitting in my couch cheering gus on then all of a sudden zenoheld got promoted from an evil king to and evil murderer!he turned his bakugan into a literal death machine and killed gus.gus will be remembered dearly! :'( :'( :'(may he rest in peace

This show isn't hardcore enough for them to actually kill anybody, rest assured they'll bring him back. Remember SM's target audience and fanbase is about 6-8, they won't have anything truly “bad” happen to anyone.

thats true.however we all saw gus burning and being destroyed by the blast.spectra even said he was going to avenge gus.if gus was still alive,spectra would know.in that episode,it showed that spectra and gus's gaunlets were linked or something so spectra automatically knew gus was battling.if gus was alive,spectra's gaunlet would indicate it.

No vestals in GI as far as I know. Gus may indeed be dead. However I though the female lead from chaotic died in one episode but was instead teleported by the ghost a lizard-like creature (Midpedians are generally lizard-like with the slight exception of warbeasts) known as Owaki
