New Season 3 Bakugan Good or Bad?

I just wanted to start this discussion since I had a major thought. Since season 3 bakugan are coming out,new cards, and new rules, I was wondering if we will still be able to play B3's and B2's. Since new bakugan are going to have “battle gear” and special attachment parts and holes:will all of our B3 and B2 bakugan become obselete or useless? Also since new cards will come out will our old ablilities and gates just be put away for good? It's like a fresh start which isn't bad but is it nesecerly a good thing? And will this happen every time a new season comes out, start anew collection? Well just respond with your personal opinions and thoughts.

Aside from the serious note, if they change the rules everyone is a “newb” so Bakuganbuzz.com would be filled with noobs. lol

Not sure. Haven't opened up the others yet so not sure on the Coredem card or g-power on Pyrus or Subterra Translucent. Maybe tomorrow since it's past my boys bedtime ! lol.. Be sure I will let you know though..

S3 is suppose to have more UPs from what we've seen so far.Additional Gameplay element - The new battle gear is an addition to a game which is very cool. Now a team is composed of a battle gear, trap and 3 bakugans. Additional Card Type - This is actually good because we don't have to squeeze another card with our existing 3 ability card limit. This is what made some of the traps cards so hard to use. They don't do enough to sometimes consider them as a part of your deck. Some are good though.Cross attribute feature - This is where the traps failed. The ability of the battle gear to work on different attributes is very nice and I dont have to buy 1 gear for each attribute which is becoming too painful for my wallet.

Yeah, I gotta admit, the new cards and color schemes are my favorite part of the Gundalian Invaders, I dont care for the gears themselves, but the gameplay addition is nice, But the evolution Spinmaster is taking is phenomenal!

This feels like entering Hoenn… We'll start to miss season 1(I already am) but it's not neccesarilly getting worse. A lot of new mechanics are coming into play, and everything becomes a lot more complex. That's good right? Well, it also makes the game lose the simplicity that made it fun for younger kids, and it's not as much of a casual game. There's going to be lots of hate and praise to it, so let's just hope it does as well as Pokemon. Gahhh… This is bronging up lots of Nostalgia…

You have to understand that bakugan even if it is targeted for kids, has to mature or evolve so that the current fanbase can grow with it. You can't keep throwing and reusing old material since the current fanbase will get older which means players will get to understand more. Just look at how other sucessful games like pokemon. I remember pokemon during the early sets, simple rules and with simple gameplay buy looking at it now can give you an idea of how far along the game has evolved.If you are worried about the getting too confusing then that is what we the fans are here for. The current fans will make sure the game is as enjoyable to both old and new players. Forums and information sites like the buzz keep the game going and content, feedback, questions and complaints keep the game in check

Wait how could a single bakugan have that much power? And I do like the new stuff coming out and everything but I just have a feeling B2's and B3's will become useless. However I hope the linking thing is just for show, and also with the new Gear cards will you only be able to attach it to certain attributes? And yes we still have to see how the new rules are, wish someone would share them * coughs and says (NP2.0) uncough*
