well something just popped up one day saying it detected a bunch of viruses so I downloaded this protection software it reccomended and now stuff keeps popping up and my parents are pissed at me.

I almost ran into a similar situation. LUCKILY my aunt prooved that it was from MSN and not youtube. (whew….) this is harsh b'y….. just harsh….

OMG, NEVER DO THAT, YOU DOWNLOADED THE VIRUS, NOT THE CURE!!! I have been in trouble for a computer virus before too, my parents blamed neopets, LOL, but I can go on now ;D

Oh, I don't use antivirus on my laptop for that same reason lol. Thing is though you can't get a virus from anything unless you actually download something, and you don't download YT vids, try telling your mom that.

OK, I'm so confused. Everyone is saying YT is perfectly safe but at my Mom's work she said that the computer there had a virus. So, she also tells me that they weren't sure what caused it but they told my Mom that YT and some other things are the MAIN cause of viruses. Hmm....
