I have to agree that this site is going down hill and there needs to be changes. I am considering having a moderator appointed to to each section. One per and a different for each. That person would be responsible for deleting junk threads, deleting crap/spam posts, and cleaning their section up. Also responsible for a general upkeep of that section and reporting back to me any problem makers or continuous rule breakers. Its going to be alot of work cause we need to get rid of threads that add no value and we need to police the posts in the threads as well.If you would like to be considered for a moderator position please make ONE post below detailing why you want to become one, what qualifies you and how you would do your job. Also if you have a preference of a section , then list it. ( I will probably just randomly assign mods )If you do become a mod of a section, you will personally be held responsible for that section. Screw it up and your gone. Get caught up in the spamming or rudeness, your gone. You will be resposible for your actions period, not just your section. And im not talking mod promotion gone, im talkin the forum gone. So if you want to help make this the best bakugan community it can be and hold yourself to a higher standard and set an example for others than please let me know.Finally ONLY post in this thread if you want to be considered and follow the rules stated above. If you cant read this post and follow the rules, then you obviously arent qualified for the job.EDIT - I would like for mods to be on at least once a day but i know thats not always going to be pratical. As long as you are on a fair amount each week and do a good job of cleaning up the current mess and keeping your section clean i dont see a problem. I am hoping to have one person for each section so that its only one section you have to worry about and thus make it easier to be focused on the task at hand.

I think I should be a mod to…..um I would prefer a section with a lot of activity. Anyways, the reasons I qualify as a mod, first off, I am homeschooled so I am always checking Buzz every hour. I never ever ever cuss or post inappropriate content. Look through my posts for proof. Ever since about 2 weeks ago, I had noticed a TON and I mean a TON of swearing going on. Right then, I knew it would all go down hill. And I tried to warn everyone and tried to put a stop to it, but, of course, I got F bombed to the next millenium. I am somebody that you can trust and I will always obey the rules. I would do a great job keeping track of my area. Absolutlely NO spam or inappropriate content will be tolerated. And if there is an off-section topic, I would simply direct that person to the correct area. Well, those are my reasons for why I would make a good mod.

I think I could be a good Moderator for the BakuDome. After all most of my non counted posts are there, I already manage the scoreboard, I can help on clarifications, I go online as long as I can even on school nights and it would be more than just a responsibility to moderate the bakudome it would also be an honor. I feel as if the bakudome is sort of like a home to me on the forum and I'll do everything to keep my home civil, spamless and enjoyable for all. I already don't take kindly to spam and I try to end arguments with a calm straight forward opinion that most people agree on. Kinda like you Ernie But if that wont solve the argument and it just keeps going I'll lock the topic. But if the argument continues in another topic then a few bans might be needed. For useless topics that are just spam I'll delete them on spot.EDIT: I also rarely curse. The most I say is cr@p.P.S: So do you know when the staus updates are happening to the chosen members?

Alright,I wanna be a mod.I want to repay this forum from the stupidity I've had in the past.I want the fights to stop.I want a new beginning.This forum is beginning to turn into SPAMLAND.Many people want for that NOT to happen.But we all fight it,including me,and all that turns into more spam.I have realised not to do that today actually,because of what happened today was unacceptable.A member leaves because of that retarded fight,a GOOD member at that.Sigh…But that is behind us,now towards the future.I want to rid the forum of that crap,and prevent crap like that.So overall,I want to be mod because I want to repay this awesome place,and prevent more crap from happening.BUT,I COMPLETELY understand if you dont want me being mod,because of stuff that has happened in the past.

I would like to be a moderator for any section. I think that I would be a good moderator, because I get on for hours a day, keep check on most sections, and try to help by correcting and redirecting spammers and new members to the correct section. I don't want Bakugan Buzz turning into Bakugan Community V2.0, so stopping spammers and trolls is my #1 priority moderator or not. While not being a moderator makes it hard to deal with trolls because you are giving them a chance to start a flame war, and spammers just ignore regular members, giving me

I'm interested in becoming a moderator, because I agree that the site is filled with plenty spam, even though I'm sure some comes from myself. I spend a lot of time on the computer, so pretty much whenever I'm home I'll be able to check the site and clean up anything that needs cleaning. I'm typically reffered to as a “bad cop” when I'm a moderator or administrator, probably because of frequent negative attitudes and how tough I can be on anyone whenever I really want to. But generally this status isn't a bad thing, because really noobs, trolls, flamers, and general spammers really need to stop. With all the regular spam happy noobs, it has cuased regular members to start going down the same hill and we need to really fix that. In addition to all that, it would certainly make I, myself a better member in general as with the responsibility would come mandatory rule following. So yeah thats why I think I'd be good for a moderator position, I HAVE done thi sbefore a few times, the biggest site I did it on had around 10,000 members when I quit, but I think I do a much better job on smaller sites like this.

I would like to become a mod, because I think it is important for this community to be peacful like it always was. I think that creating peace is one extra way for a better site, and for a better world. HOw would I do my job? Of course I will report back to you when anything extremee happens. I would gladly delete all the spam topics, and clean up my section for the better. I would love to be moderator, and feel like I would be perfect. I actually already feel like a mod sadly, so why not make it official. I think I would be perfect cause I am alreday here 24/7, sadly though. Anyways, I am a straight A student, so my grammar is at the top, and I feel as if spam is inflating. I know some people feel that I start fights, but I actually try to stop spam, and unfortunatley have no power, therefore leading into me fighting a battle that can't be won. I think I would be a perfect moderator for the general discussion off topic section, since thats where most the arguing starts. I feel that I am a piece of BakuganBuzz, and want it to succeed, my point in being here is for fun bakugan discussion, not constant complaints. I do not cuss, since its against my morals, and I know this minor power wont go to my head. I added some info to the original post as a possible answer to your Q. No actual time commitment set in stone. But if you know your hardly ever on then you wont be able to do a good job for the community. I think the main problem section is the off topic and i have closed that for now. ( left intro section up ) I dont think it should be too hard keeping up with stuff once the sections are initially purged of the garbage.This is actually a hard job with real responsibility and those who step up to help ( and do a good job ) will be rewarded in the end.
