Cards come with starters and boosters. They used to sell packs with just cards, but they discontinued them.And you can have any three Bakugan you want, no limits on them.

Uh, they still sell packs with just cards esk. They have NV card boxes, 10-packs(I think) and card sleeve packs. I recommend them if you intend on just buying 3 Mega Nemuses and creating a strategy for them.

Um, What esky said about subterra, he doesnt like it cause he uses haos, but thats OK, haos is a tough strategy to use late in the game due to lack of good strategical cards available, so subterra might be a good choice.

Esk, i totally disagree with you misleading Joasht about subterra bakugan and rather he find out himself what attribute he likes. Also it's not the bakugan as much as it is the brawler. Note that the brawler ranked #1 in the bakudome is a subterra brawler.

Ah thats interesting, but theres a set distance I presume?I have a few other questions:1) What kind of pieces should I keep my eyes out for? It seems certain designs are "rarer" than others.2) Does the design of the bakugan have an effect on gameplay? I'd imagine some bakugan are more stable due to their design.3) In a two player game, how do you set up the field? 3x2 cards?4) I'm thinking of playing with brown and grey, since the other colors somehow seem a little too bright for me :X Any advice?Thanks

No one Bakugan is rarer than another, except Steel Neo Dragonoid and Gold Fear Ripper.2.Yes, there are cards that effect only one kind of Bakugan, Special Attack Bakugan have Special Features, some affect gameplay, others are just for show3. 2 players, each player sets one card on the field, furthest away from him/her4. Forget Subterra (brown) and just stick with Haos (grey). Subterra only focuses on getting as many Gs as possible, which can be easily countered with a strategy, something Haos is an expert at.

No, you get to use one in addition to the three main Bakugan. So, in total: 4.

Think of it more like a fourth ability card than a Bakugan.

Nope, you can have any colors, any powers, or anything you find for those 3 bakugan. 😉
