Well, My Dharak already decided to break on me, so I had to open it up to fix it (Thank gawd for those Triangle screwdrivers!). Turned out the magnet had popped out and was no longer pulling on the latches.Some Zap-a-Gap has hopefully fixed the problem. It seems to be working now. Seriously, Spinmaster needs a better method of attaching magnets to the Bakugan than just glue. Glue doesn't stick well to ABS and it REALLY doesn't stick well to metal. Then again, this is only the second time I've encountered this problem (The 1st was a Pyrus Percival at Baku-Con Dallas). Still...to break after less than a week...Anyway, while I was letting the glue dry I figured I'd let you see the guts of a Bakumorph:Yup. A very simple mechanism with only two latches. The one on the right is for the latch under the jaw and the other one grabs the wings. Kinda bland for something I paid $20 for. I'm sure there is a way that this bakumorph could be made to totally unfold itself. The fundamental problem is not only would it be a pain to close, but it would also lose its poseability. The neck has a ball joint with an un-needed notch, as the body splits in half to put the neck into while the tail is on a simple rotating joint with a ratchet-based unfolding mechanism.And that's the Dharak Bakumorph. If anyone needs help fixing theirs, give me a shout. As of yet, I have no intention of buying the Neo Dragonoid Bakumorph (Not without funding, anyway).
