Maybe it doesn't have a magnet? Is there a clicking sound when it does? It could also have weak springs.

The same thing happend to my alpha perival ( brofre i traded it) i just threw it down on the ground closed it and it would open

my harpus just won't stick to metal so i need to get a triangle screwdriver and do some bakugan autopsy

Cant you call SM up and tell them about your problem with that bakugan and the will send you a new one and you send the crappy one to them so they can fix it,i thought you could do that with SM

! that gives me an idea! DM21, why don't you make your ingram's magnet face a magnet of one of your bakugan, then if it bounces, something is wrong and if it doesn't work, there's no magnet.
