Okay, I had this idea for a new ranking system (obviously). I was thinking a system more like the TV show, where we aren't ranked based on the ratio of our wins to losses, but on the rank of the people we beat. Example: Say I am ranked at #1. Somebody challenges me and they beat me. They are now ranked #1, and I am #2. Everyone else on the scoreboard is also 1 rank lower because of this.Of course, you could only challenge people 5 ranks ahead of you to count for the scoreboard so as to prevent someone at Rank 50 from going straight to Rank 1. Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas here.
I'd still prefer a point system where a win gives you a certain amount of points and a loss gets your a certian amounts of points, that way people who are 1/0 aren't so high on the list. THough thats not much of a problem, still I'm fine witht he current scroeboard. How exactly would you do it if lets say number 30 beat number 1? WHere do they move? Unless you're talking like a ladder in which the 30th person couldn't even battle the 1st prson (only the second could)
Hmmm. I like this idea. However what I'm concerned about is that it might take too much work. So you could challenge the person 5 or less ranks ahead of you for their spot, you beat them and they move down one causing the whole scoreboard to move down one meaning I have to update everyone's score individually on the scoreboard. There are over 70 people on the scoreboard.

Many of them are inactive, most of us could name the more active people (Even I'm not that active)
He said that you must be 5 ranks or less lower than the person you face
I know I've applied that rule to the new scoreboard at the community. I'll try to take out the inactives. And I've been removig scores as accounts are deleted.
After checking out the scoreboard again, I definitely think this system is broken. I am ranked 58 (I think), higher than many people with much more experience and wins than me, including one person I have lost to. I now think, that while my system would work, a point system would also work, like Yoshi suggested.
