I do not think there needs to be a section for games. That kind of stuff is for general disscusion. The problem is people see a popular game and fell they need to make another thread of the same exact game. Ultimately creating spam and ruining the site.

Pretty much. One thread for one game would be tolerable, but whenever someone makes a good game someone else copies it with minor changes, as does the next person, and the next, and pretty soon there's about 20 different topics about the same general game, thus spam is born. This happened with the Wars topics, the restaurant topics, and will continue to happen if more game topics are made. So although a good game is always fun, it can't really be done here.
