Well… I personally have been thinking that G powers are getting too high. Since they keep rising, they make the older lower G power bakugan almost obsolete. Of course, that is probably spin masters way to make money. Keep out-dating the old, everyone will buy the new… So, I personally believe that the G powers are really pushing it, and they don't stop increasing…But... on the other hand, a supposedly good brawler with powerful strategy and good cards could beat someone with super strong bakugan... but since mostly kids play the game, that idea just doesn't seem feasible to me. So, post your thoughts. Just wanted to start some chit chat... and integrate myself more with the rest of the forum, being a new MOD and all

It helps to have a super weak bakugan, for duck and win.

Yeah, they're getting high…Wish they'd at least remake the older bakugan with higher powers.

Well, they banned B1s, which had the lowest G-Powers. I personally don't mind. It just means bigger, stronger Bakugan to use. At the BakuCon, these will be most useful since we BBers know more about Bakugan than they do, which makes us gravitate towards the higher G-Power packs.

By observing the g-power increase, it has gone way up.In about 1 year or less, it went from 700g Clayf to a 810g Mystic elico.Actually, only a matter of months here...By my estimation, in about July, all bakugan released will center around 800g.

Well, as long as they don't pass the 1K mark then I'm okay with it. Still even with 900+ G Bakugan the events and everything are going to be pathetic. If you watched the battle in the final at the Baku-Con last week, that one Abel kid that won, all he was doing was adding more G-Power there was no strategy with the cards. It's good to know that there are people like that, so it's just easier to win with cheap cards, like Crushing Blow, and etc.

The high G-Powers would of been balanced by the tournament rule that states only the lowest printed G-Power gets the Gate bonus, but as we know, they decided to take that rule out of the Chicago Baku-Con and I'm assuming the rest of the tournament as well.

The tournament low G-power rule will probably be dropped since Im assuming those guys who will judge or manage the tournament is not interested in additional work during the tourney. The problem when SM is they can't seem to make their mind up and they are unorganized. They should look in other games like pokemon and magic the gathering to see how tournaments are done. I've been to a couple and even hosted a couple and events like tournaments are taken very seriously. I know the companies spend a lot of money on the props and everything else but you still have to focus on what event is all about. This is one clear example why SM should do more events and they should also uphold the rules they established in the first place. Doing a switcheroo at the actual event is a big no no IMHO.

I personally think they changed the rules, because most of the kids that showed up had B1's and with no real strategies other than having the highest G-Power, and did not even know about the #1 rule, and therefore would upset the vast majority of uneducated players. I really hope they don't drop the #1 rule.
