Q) What is Kamen Rider?A) Kamen Rider is a Weekly Japanese Tokusatsu created by Shotaro Ishinomori. It originally aired April 3rd, 1971 through February 10th 1973. Many Different Series of Kamen Rider have been created since the original.Q) What is this Showa and Heisei Era mean?A) The Showa rider's are from the Showa Era (obviously) and consist of 14 riders. The Showa Era ended in 1989. The Heisei Rider's are the current series Kamen Riders and the Heisei rider's started in 2000 after the debut of Kamen Rider Kuuga. It is currently on it's twelfth series, Kamen Rider OOO.Q) How would I go about watching Kamen Rider?A) If you speak fluent Japanese, then you should have no probably looking up Raw episodes on youtube. However, for the rest of us, this is not the case and we need subs. You can find subs in various places. I personally perfer TV-Nihon's subs.Q) Is this Japanese Power Rangers?A) No, shut up. Super Sentai is the Japanese power rangers.Q) How will I know if I like Kamen Rider?A) The only way to truely know is to actually watch it! Because I'm a cool guy, I'm going to link the first part of the first episodes of each heisei series (It's a bitch to try to find Showa era subs on youtube that is of good quality.Q) I like Kamen Rider. Is there any merchandise I can purchase?A) Yes! But you will have to do some looking (AmiAmi, HLJ or CStoysJapan would be good places to start)and know that some ( and by 'some' I mean 'most') of the Kamen Rider/Super Sentai Merchandise can be expensive AS HELL. Most of the time DX belts are about $40+.
