I just thought I'd post this because most of These fanfics are bland.Main reason:Every dang chapter its a brawl. So here are some general tips...-Dont make Every dang chapter a brawl.ADD STORY TO IT.

      I started,then I got spammed saying the story sucked,no action,and I got annoyed with it,So I said screw it.

Helpful to me. My first Fan-Fic book was brawling, but now Book 2 is gonna be story.

Now, a truly talented writer can do a story with both, right? It can have drama, but it needs some action, too. I'd say the best way to mix them is to have some story outside of brawling, but while brawling continue to develop the characters, having brief dialogue between turns. As much as I hate to say it, taking a page out of the writing for Yu-Gi-Oh actually isn't that bad an idea.
