There was a thread at the “official” forums about whether the bakugan that had their magnets exposed were real or knock offs. Real Bakugan in fact did have exposed magnets at one time so this is not a definite way to tell if a bakugan is a knock off. The ventus starter pack i just bought has 2 bakugan with holes in the bottom with the magnets exposed, while the third bakugans ( the hidden fear ripper ) is not exposed. So just thought i would point that out and show the picture for further proof since they are sealed in factory packaging. Its pretty easy to see the holes in the first 2 bakugan. The third ( hidden ) bakugan in the other picture
All of what I consider to be “official” series 1 bakugan have holes. Therefore most of my bakugan do.. XDIt was around the beginning of this past summer they started filling the magnet holes, however my first non-hole bakugan was a ventus skyress that came packed with holed bakugan much like your pack there. I find stuff like this funny considering a year ago these were the only kind of bakugan available. Funny enough... when they started filling the magnet holes is also when they started punching holes into certain bakugan types for "saftey reasons". Therefore I consider the ones with the magnet holes far more valuable and attractive (even though they are more likely to ding up cards). Especially since this is how the Bakugan appear on the show.
i'd rather have my b2 storm skyress magnet exposed >:( because the magnets are always shifting around and i have to tap it to open it.. some bakugan are so cheaply made sometimes
All fake Bakugan have exposed magnets, but none of the people who make them even try to bother making the packaging(or even cards) look as though it's official.Anyways, that starter you have there is real. When they started putting in those hole-less ones, they just secretly mixed them in with the ones with holes. No worries. =)-N/M

I have some bakugan with exposed magnets. They're junk.If you get one exposed magnet bakugan and a non exposed bakugan and put their magnets together they both pop open.
That means the magnet polarity's been switched. I'm guessing it's the one with the exposed magnet. Two bakugan's with unexposed magnets, if you put them together should repel
so, if they reversed the polarity, wouldn't they have to do that with the cards too??
No, the cards are left the same. The cards don't have magnets in them, just metal. You can take any kind of magnet, north or south end, and stick it on there.

I got that pack too! I think it came with Ventus Stinglash and Centiploid, both with the magnets showing, and the filled-in Skyress...
