Cursed Mirror 24/48eCursed%20Mirror%2024-48e.jpgWhile this Gate card is in your used pile, the Attributes of all your Bakugan are changed to their opposites at the start of each battle (the opposites are Pyrus/Aquos, Sub Terra/Ventus, and Darkus/Haos).So my question is if I activated Ventus 2 in a battle and switched this Gate card with a Gate card in my opponents used pile. Would the card's effect affect him right away? Thus changing my opponents Bakugan's Attribute to its opposite. I'm mainly wondering if it only works for the owner of the card. I came upon this realization today when I bought a booster and I was wondering how I could use it strategically. EDIT:I also thought up this questionable scenario. The other question doesn't need to be answered for this at least. So for example, you play traps before the Gate card is revealed right? Or at least thats my understanding. So if you have the Cursed Mirror Gate card in your used pile before this next battle begins and you had a trap of the right color for the original Bakugan right. With me so far? Well, does it get changed by the Mirror Gate first making you unable to play your Trap because they are not the right colors or can you play it first and then it'll get switched by the Gate card? The answer might be simple, I might just not be seeing it.

As soon as that card is in your used pile its effect is active.

Yeah but does it have to be my used pile or can it be my opponents?

While this Gate card is in your used pile, It has to be in your used pile. It is clearly stated on the card

Imo thats just starting to border on spamming. Come on.Anyways, I'm still not satisfied with that answer. I mean in the scenario I pointed out, the card doesn't necessarily point out the original owner or a owner at all. It'd be nice to get an answer from SM.

It would seem like whoever has the card in the used pile would have the effect activated on their bakugan.Would this answer your question?

“Your” targets the player and “used pile” targets a specific part of the player's area. I agree it sounds unclear but I am assuming the card text does not refer to the owner of the card but the

Well this can only be resolved by figuring out the order which effect will activate first. It is already stated on the card that the attribute changes "at the start of the battle". It is however unclear if traps can be played "at the start of battle" or when exactly can they be played as they seem to be playable at the start or during the battle. BUT if all effects get resolved as they are played then SINCE the gatecard is already in play (by being in the used pile) it should execute first. It could be similar to this scenario where you play an ability card that boosts a pyrus attribute to +80 which resolves right away then playing a trap changes the attribute of the bakugan and regardless of the new attribute it will carry over the additional 80 to its g power. Effects basically dont stack. All effects come into play as they are played (and meet requirements) and no such thing as an effect stack exist.I do hope that rulings are made clearer like when traps can be played or which elements of the game happen first.

Oh I found some additional info. I guess reading really helps. LOLFrom the FAQ3.03: How do you play a Bakugan Trap? You may play one of your Trap during a battle as long as the Trap and Bakugan have the same attribute. For example, if you are using a Pyrus Bakugan in that battle you need to use a Pyrus Trap.To play your Trap during a battle, take it from your unused pile and drop it onto the Gate Card engaged in battle. When it opens up you will see one or more attribute symbols revealed inside it. You will now change the attribute of your Bakugan to any one of the attributes printed inside your Trap. Since the gatecard does say at the start of each battle then the gatecard will resolve first.
