Thanks for the "Official" responses so far. My questions and ability to run into errors and/or discrepancies has always made me a valuable "tester".XP

heh, check out the updated rules in the "official thread"

Lastly, a Clear Bakugan in a used or unused pile would not count as having ANY attribute until it is given one in a battle.

This might make it sound like when you pick an att for a clear it stay that way for the WHOLE game. I doubt that's the case. I always assumed it reset every battle. The wording might be better as "unless in battle" and not "until give on in battle".

the rule states that a clear bakugan takes on the the opponents attribute at the beginning of a battle. so no matter what it will change every battle. It also stated somewhere ( i would have to find it ) that cards that reference bakugan of a certain attribute in game but not necessarily in battle that a clear wouldnt count as any.I think its pretty straight forward using common sense.

Yeah I get that... but when it goes to your Used pile... does it revert back to "clear" or stay the attribute it copied till the start of the next battle?Given that last tidbit I would think the former. In fact that's what I just downright naturally assume... but I figure I should try to clarify it anyway.

4.03: CLEAR BAKUGAN 4.03: How do I use a Clear Bakugan? At the beginning of a battle, Clear Bakugan take on the attribute of your opponent's Bakugan. If both players have a clear Bakugan they both get to pick which attribute they want for that battle.4.04: How do I use a Clear Bakugan when battling a Dual Attribute Bakugan? The Clear Bakugan will take on the attribute that is decided when your opponent pick's the attribute for their Dual Attribute Bakugan.4.05: How do I use a Clear Bakugan against a Translucent Bakugan? The Clear Bakugan will take on the attribute that is decided when your opponent picks the attribute for their Translucent Bakugan.4.06: When does a Clear Bakugan change its attribute?Clear Bakugan take the attribute of their opponent at the start of the battle. They do not constantly change as their opponent changes.4.07: Can a Clear Bakugan change its attribute more than once in a battle? No. You can only take on an attribute change once during a battle. 4.08: PEARL BAKUGAN 4.08: How do I use a Pearl Bakugan?Pearl Bakugan can either take on their regular G-Power bonus on a Gate Card OR the highlighted Gate bonus... whichever one you decide!4.09: TRANSLUCENT BAKUGAN 4.09: How do I use a Translucent Bakugan? At the start of a battle, the owner of the Translucent Bakugan may choose to either keep their attribute OR take on the attribute of their opponent.4.10: How do I use a Translucent Bakugan against a Clear Bakugan?Since a Translucent Bakugan can't take on the attribute of an attribute-less Bakugan, you must use the attribute that the Translucent Bakugan is.4.11: How do I use a Translucent Bakugan against a Dual Bakugan? After your opponent determines the attribute of their Dual Bakugan, you may choose which attribute to use: your original attribute or your opponent's determined attribute.

4.12: DUAL ATTRIBUTE BAKUGAN 4.12: How do I use a Dual Attribute Bakugan? At the beginning of battle, the player who has the Dual Attribute Bakugan gets to choose from the two attributes on the Bakugan they want.4.13: Does a Dual Attribute Bakugan get two bonuses when processing G-Power bonuses? No. A Dual Attribute Bakugan can only be one attribute at any given time. If you have a Dual attribute Bakugan in a battle, and it is (for example) currently an Aquos, then it only counts as a single attribute Bakugan giving a single G-Power bonus. If you have a Dual Bakugan in your used or unused pile, you can pick either of the attributes for a single G-Power bonus, but you cannot pick both for a double bonus. This may get a little wonky in some situations. You may need to determine the attribute of a Dual, or other attribute changing Bakugan, at the beginning of the battle for certain cards that may be played that reference to the attributes of Bakugan not currently in battle. Lastly, a Clear Bakugan in a used or unused pile would not count as having ANY attribute until it is given one in a battle.
