sorry i missed the big brawl part. After reading it all again ( and again ) some of it looks like it will work. The main problem i see is that the trap has to be played at the start of a battle before any ability cards are played.

I'd use it on a character card to first change it to the better attribute then use the ability to double the already doubled bonus to about +800gs total.
