Hello all. I recently bought the battle pack, a booster pack, traveling battle arena ( the one that folds up ), and a starter pack of Bakugan to get me started, and I have a few questions. It took me forever to learn the rules of the game since one of my rule books was the first set of rules, and the other one was the second so they contradicted themselves constantly. Finally figured out the rules but there are a few things that remain unclear.-I have all the second set of cards, meaning no HSP counters or anything like that-1. What is the deal with the little yellow circles that highlight certain attributes on gate cards? I have taken to the internet and forums and STILL can't figure out why they are highlighted like that. Game element?2. Is it common to get your Bakugan without the G-power number rating written in it? (yes i have checked behind the stickers. I have covered every inch of 2 of my Bakugan, and can't find it. So I just made up G-force numbers and wrote them in....)3. Why is the Anime intro song to the series so....terrible.... ( sorry, personal opinion on that one... )4. Just how wide-spread and popular is this game? Bigger in Japan than in U.S or other countries? Just curious to get the scope of all the people interested in this. I know Pokemon is popular everywhere, and was wondering if Bakugan compared to it at all.5. < <<<<<<< (Most important to me right now) Ok I bought all this so my buddy and I could have something to do. And in theory its a blast. But, in practicality it's proving to be very boring. Why? Because it seems all we do is shoot (roll) our Bakugan over...and over....and over...without them ever "standing" on a gate card. It gets really bogged down and dull when all you are doing is basically rolling little marbles across the floor with no purpose. Now to my question, is there any advice you can give on how to make them "stand"? 9/10 times the balls are rolling across the gate cards, but fail to open or stick, or open and then fly off the card ( doesn't count apparently ). Any advice on how to make them "stand", and therefore make the game more exciting would be very very helpful.Sorry for long post. Just hoping to get some clarity on the game for further enjoyment. Thanks to any post in advance!

(yes i have checked behind the stickers. I have covered every inch of 2 of my Bakugan, and can't find it. So I just made up G-force numbers and wrote them in....)It does happen once in a while. The placement of the g-power also changes sometimes so you might just be missing it3. Why is the Anime intro song to the series so....terrible.... Besides that, make sure you are just the 2 card lengths away and that the magnet is down so when you roll it , the magnet has a chance to contavt the gate card. Also dont roll it so fast, 2 cards away isnt that far so not much speed is needed.Sorry for long post. Just hoping to get some clarity on the game for further enjoyment. Thanks to any post in advance!
Wow, thank you for quick reply! By magnet down, you mean when you start to roll in from your hand, the magnet is facing towards the ground? By the time it hits the two-card length its revolutions will have caused it to return to its original position, being magnet down? This makes sense. In an average two player game, how accurate would you say you are? ( % or Ratio )My ratio just seems embarrassing, generally 1 stick out of every 10-15 throws.Would be helpful to know the ratio of someone who has experience, so that I know if I am improving. Thanks!
Well I juut got back from out weekly Bakugan game night and we play a little different rather than one of our gate cards down at a time we each lay one down….then next turn lay one down and start rolling from there, We play with 4 people so we have a good chance of hitting a card for any given moment there are cards out on the feild.

I believe this is because they have made the game very repetitive until they get like 100s of diff cards and balls out

Yes just keep your head up.
Very good. Thanks for all the help guys. I'll keep at it. I've been practicing with the spinning technique and that seems to work really well…. most of the time. Now it's just time to.......Gotta catch em' all! Oh wait, that's another franchise. Thanks again!
I use the top method personally. As long as there isn't another bakugan on the card I have a 6/7 success rate. (I just finished rolling 50 times to find out)just lightly spin the bakugan like a top with the magnet down and combine with a slight push for direction. Also, something that I'm not sure is legal but is fun to do: Some bakugan such as blade tigrerra (sorry about the spelling) have legs designed in such a fashion, that when deployed make it very easy to land it on the card. Just deploy the legs and slide it onto the card legs first~ I don't do it during actual games because I'm not sure if it is legal, but it works almost every time.

there are no rules against it, so go for it!
