So, Esk and I were in a call and we were looking at a lot of the stuff from late NV to more recent releases, and you can definitely see the quality decline. I was like, “Man, if this was handled different, it could be so much better. What if we, like, went off and made our own forum or something with frequent updates, and updated with newer bakugan or cards that could be used? Make it sorta like how the entire BB wanted it, y' know.” So, Esk said "or how about we just ask to see what BB would think if we did something anything close to that?"So, what would you think of it? If we were to do it, everything would be started from scratch-- no Haos 2, no Sky and Gaia broken turn one 2 gates, etc... A general "lets actually listen to the users" thing where we try to pay attention to what the meta needs, or unspecified rules, etc...There's a bunch of stuff that pretty much supports that bakugan is dying a slow death. The shrinking fanbase, the overflowing shelf stocks, closing of the community, among others. Why shouldn't the fans that are left try to make something like it? We would have a database of all the bakugan that are available, in whatever attribute and whatever Gpower, with special effects listed and the like. We would also have a library of the cards, their color, their effect, and the like. It would be easy to refer to the cards or the bakugan to check legitimacy, no worrying about "Does it actually exist in that configuration?" Take note, this isn't a "oh hey gaiz read mai fanfic bcuz its so cool! :333333" thing, it's more along the lines of "the series is dying, and if we don't make it interesting somehow, it's gonna die completely."So yeah, what do you guys think?
