Two questions:One, do we know if there is any special rules with the Bronze Bakugan at this point, or are they merely treated as special treatment for now? Can't seem to find if there was anything special with them or not.And lastly, I'm sure this has probably been answered, but my pregnancy brain can't seem to locate the answer (Darn brain farts)...A clear bakugan and another bakugan battle. The clear takes on the attribute of the enemy. Got that part. So let's say the enemy decides to drop a trap and change attribute. Does the clear bakugan change to the new attribute chosen by the enemy bakugan, or does the clear bakugan remain as the enemy's original attribute? Thanks in advance.

      1. It most likely falls into the category of Special Treatment, because I'm pretty sure Spinmaster wouldn't make them just to look at XD2. Clear Bakugan change to the attribute of the opponent. Traps change the attribute of a Bakugan. If the enemy changes it's attribute, the Clear follows the enemy.

Thanks for the trap clarification there. We weren't quite sure how to treat that situation, heh.As for the bronze guys, I guess at this point, there is no word as to whether they have anything else special about them (i.e. clears become opponent, pearls can take highlighted or their respective attribute bonus, etc)? Ah well. For now, special treatment it is. I love my Special Crush card. :)

      2. Clear Bakugan change to the attribute of the opponent. Traps change the attribute of a Bakugan. If the enemy changes it's attribute, the Clear follows the enemy.

i don't believe this is true. this is pasted directly from the official faq:* When does a Clear Bakugan change its attribute?Clear Bakugan take the attribute of their opponent at the start of the battle. They do not constantly change as their opponent changes.the full faq can be found here: http://my.bakugan.com/articles/entry/Bakugan-Gameplay-FAQ

But remember, this is SM that said that, it could most likely be a mess up.

I'm pretty sure they know their own rules though. 😐

The clear Bakugan only takes the attribute of the opponent at the beginning of the battle not during. So it'll stay the attribute the opponent was before the trap was used.

Both actions are stated to happen “at the start of a battle” ( playing a trap bakugan and also the clear becoming an attribute ). In the case of Dual attributes and translucents, the clear becomes the attribute that is chosen by the opponent. ( which they also must choose at the beginning of a battle ) So by that token, the clear wouldnt become an attribute until after the trap was laid down. ( just going by the timing of how its used against translucents and duals ) But it seems to me that it would make more sense strategy wise to allow the trap to be played afterwards. So its still iffy on the timing of this instance. I have sent the question to my community manager and will get a response soon hopefully to clear things up and make it “Official”.
