1.only between matches2.best out of 3 by the end of a certain amount of time3.you played 4 different members from your colored group, and whoever got the most gate points(got the most gates total), second place too, got into the top 16 for that day.

how does advancing work at baku-con? I mean how do you determine the top players on the first day? like do certain color champions battle each other?
