      Nope

Actually, I meant other people who went to BakuCon and brawled, or saw, kids (or adults in side-tourneys) with stupid, or non-existent, strats.

I do recall saying in another post that because there were so many amateurs, expert brawlers like our fellow BBers and others like The Community's Dragongirl9888 would just cut swathes through them. I managed to take some kid's mishmash of Bakugan and Cards, made as good a strategy as I could with them (Which was still pretty mediocre, he barely knew how to play) and he went on to win most of his matches (3rd in his flight, I believe). That just goes to show that someone with even mere wisps of a strategy was more than a match for most of the brawlers there. The only match in the side tourney that got a lot of attention was the one between me and Dragongirl9888 (Which was only the semi-finals! My final opponent was no comparison.).I'd set the tiers here:7-13, and 14+. Once the series stabilizes its fanbase, then these two tiers would be about equal, I think.Even if they didn't do sanctioned play, just a small subsidizing of organized play (Of which there have been rumors) would generate more competent brawlers and "Bakucon II" would be much more epic.

I really wish I could talk with them, as you do, Kohdok. I see they're trying to adjust the gameplay and it seems like they're really working hard on it. Having played as many games I have, I really see where things need to be fixed.

I think Kohdok meant he was talking to Miles Parents/Family.

I still think that we the players ages 16+ should get our very own Baku-Con tournament because all the 7-15 players already got a chance without even letting us play!

That is correct. The issue with this game is that the older and more "knowledgeable" players are not being recognized as a factor to the game. I've visited a local comic/hobby shop and I was amazed at how popular YuGiOh is considering that it started with a very young fan base. I mean they had a tournament which were participated by mostly 16-17+ players and some adults too.

Well yes, because Spin Master thinks as Bakugan more as a kids thing and doesnt think as competition that big as we probably do.

Maybe they're worried that many of the fans end up being kids and only a few people in the 16+show up. Causing them to lose money?

I can't wait till the bakugan-like pokemon game comes out. Then maybe SM will change their mind about considering adults or olders player in their events.

That's one thing that should be obvious. If there was an adult, they would be playing against a little kid. Who wins, the adult, in most cases.

we had a tourney here, and they way they did it was like i think under 5's and stuff could learn to play, so older kids could be in the main one. the main one sucked anyway, you couldn't use your own bakugan, and they changed the rules.. *ramble*ANYWAYSNext year, i'm sure that there will be a better age system... seeing as everyone is talking about it, Lord darkus or whoever must have already heard about it and told the higher ups?

Hmmm those BakuCons look interesting but I always hate going places where I stand out. Also if there's any age limit than I'm already out. It would be neat to finally play a actual human. (I've never brawled in real life.)

Ahh, your 19, so yes, you couldnt play, but you stand out that much? I mean our own Kohdok was at Dallas, and hes like 20, so your not limited in anyways.
