They don't have them in your area yet? I've seen Pyrus, Aquos and Subterra Neo Vortexes and a Pyrus Percy Vortex, in typing this I wonder why I didn't buy one of them lol...

No, I've just never felt the need to buy one, is all.

Hmm… I would do my Turbine Helios, but I've messed with him so much that I lost the screws. I began trying to sand-down the area that the metal would show through (the area where the G-power is), but only got about 3/4 a gave up. I'll still post pictures though, if anyone is interested.I'm also really interested in a Vortex, when you get one.

I can do a Vortex. They really aren't all very interesting. But I guess I will anyway.

Don't forget to explain how the mechanism works! All you did last time was post the pieces.

Here's a new one: Hyper Dragonoid.Hyper Dragonoid is a peculiar spin on the Dragonoid series in that it has arms along with its wings and its body is quite large compared to others.DSC00086.jpgLet's take this sucker apart! Poor thing turns from a healthy red to a poor purple when it's cut open.First of all, the top half with the wings is more like a jacket over the head, as it is its own piece:DSC00089.jpgThe head and neck are a somewhat complex folding mechanism that allows the head to attach to the latch. Heh, poor guy must be cold without his 'jacket'!DSC00090.jpgThe base contains a standard latch with a compression spring, meaning that the latch has to be pulled down in order for it to open. Since closing the parts causes the latch to be depressed, this is why some parts open right back up when you go to close a different one! Here we can also see the pegs where the feet are attached.DSC00087.jpgDSC00088.jpgThe wings actually have parts near the wing base that come out to act as the latch. And that is the basics of Hyper Dragonoid!

Ok, this is weird. I was JUST taking apart my Hyper Dragonoids and switching them into BakuSwap. e_o freaky.

Hey Kohdok, I need a favor if it's not too much to ask. Could you open up a Freezer? I have one that doesn't work and I'd like to know if I could fix it. Thanks in advance.

I should do this to one of mine. Anyways OG Hydranoid would be a big help. Mine clasps really hard and Im afraid its gonna break the latch on the pop out side.

Today's analysis (A word censored on Bakugan.com because of its first four letters, probably) is of Rattleoid, though it could be similarly applied to Serpenoid. I was surprised to see that this Bakugan's mechanism is even more dumbed down than Dual Elfin's in a way that might surprise you!DSC00102.jpgI'll try putting the paragraphs below the pictures from now on.DSC00095.jpgRattleoid is assembled with two screws in a vertical split The axles of the screws serve no other purpose but to hold the thing together. You can see here that Rattleoid uses a compression spring instead of a rotary spring. Dual Elfin seems rather unique in that aspect...DSC00094.jpgThe tail works just like Dual Elfin's tail in how it has a two-part opening mechanism. The 'Rattle" is a free-swinging, spring-less part that usually opens by itself thanks to the momentum of the opening tail. The head opens with a rotary spring. Now here's the interesting part: All of the locking mechanisms are attached to the head! The magnet and the tail BOTH lock onto the head latches to keep the bakugan closed. So if you cut off the head of this snake, the body really does die!DSC00098.jpgHere's a closeup of the head latches. These latches hold the whole thing together while it's closed. So how's THAT for a ridiculously simple mechanism? I wonder if a simpler one even exists in the world of Bakugan?Until next time! I'll try OG Hydranoid next. Where does it clasp tightly? The head?
