EXCELLENT CHOICE FOR AGES 5-99. A LOT OF FUN AND VERY INTELLIGENT. A LOT MORE ACTIVE THAN CHESS OR GO. FUN-FUN-FUN.

Don’t waste your time. If I could rate it lower I would. What an absolutely ridiculous game! I bought it for my 6 y/o, because he is starting to learn about Bakugan and Pokemon, which I abhor. I read the box and it said it was a cross between chess and checkers, which seemed harmless enough. Big mistake. It is far from chess or checkers. The game says for ages 5+, but unless your 5 y/o can read the game cards, there will be no game playing. The instructions are not at all clear. The pieces have to be put together, using a chart that is in the instructions. (I would recommend gluing them together permanently, once you figure out which pieces go together.) Why the manufacturer didn’t just glue the pieces together themselves, I can’t figure. We had to keep going back to the instructions several times before we could make a move, because it wasn’t clear what we were supposed to do next. I purchased this game at a local thrift shop, for […]. Anything more than that is thievery for this game.
