Are Old Bakugan Worth Anything? 2026 Collector Price Guide

Updated October 2026. Prices change constantly. Every number on this page links to where it came from, and we tell you when it’s a real sale, a community estimate, or just an asking price.

Found a bin of Bakugan in the attic? Good news and honest news. Most common classic Bakugan sell for a few dollars each. A handful of rare variants and sealed items sell for real money. Below is the evidence we could actually verify, in three tiers:

  1. Sold data: prices from completed sales, tracked by a price site or shown on a sold listing.
  2. Community estimates: ranges from experienced collectors on Reddit who base them on eBay sold listings. These are useful, but they’re estimates, not receipts.
  3. Asking prices: what someone wants. Not what anyone paid.

The data is thin. No price-tracking site covers Bakugan figures the way PriceCharting covers video games, and we couldn’t load eBay’s sold search directly for this guide. So treat the figure ranges as a starting point, and check sold listings yourself before buying or selling (how-to below).

Tier 1: Real sold data

Classic Bakugan video games (best-documented)

Item Loose Complete New/sealed Source
Bakugan Battle Brawlers (Nintendo DS) $7.00 $10.66 $26.09 [1]
Bakugan Battle Brawlers (PlayStation 2) $8.53 $11.49 $15.00 [2]
Bakugan Battle Brawlers Collector’s Edition, Walmart (DS) n/a $68.97 $93.50 [3]

These are PriceCharting’s market values as of October 29, 2026. Some recent individual sales from the same pages:

  • DS, new/sealed: $25.00 (October 14, 2026) and $29.99 (August 28, 2026) [1]
  • PS2, complete in box: $18.95 (October 13, 2026); new: $14.99 (October 7, 2026) [2]
  • Walmart Collector’s Edition: $52 sealed (July 27, 2025), $135 (July 15, 2025), and $68.97 complete with its exclusive Bakugan (July 21, 2025) [3]. PriceCharting notes sales of this one are rare, so a single sale can swing the value a lot.

Figures

  • A lot of six classic Bakugan listed as “Six Legendary Soldiers Of Vestroia (Very Rare)” sold on eBay UK for £83.90, including a £3.90 buyer protection fee. The sale date reads 29 July, and the page doesn’t show the year [4].
  • Translucent Mutant Krakenoid sold for $800 on eBay, according to Nerdable’s rare-Bakugan roundup [5].
  • BakuTech Jigen Dragaon (Japan-only) sold for $130, also according to Nerdable [5].

We couldn’t independently open the eBay records behind the Nerdable figures, and we don’t know their dates. Treat them as reported sales.

Tier 2: Community estimates (classic figures and Battle Gear)

These ranges come from 2025 value-check threads on r/bakugantoys. Experienced collectors answer them using eBay sold history. Prices are in local currency, roughly treated as dollars, pounds or euros.

Item Estimated range Source
Most common classic Bakugan $4–$15 [7]
Helix Dragonoid (common Gundalian Invaders figure) $4–$10 [8]
Most Battle Gear pieces $4–$20 [8]
Gold Rock Hammer (Battle Gear) $5–$15 [6]
Deka (jumbo) figures $5–$20 [7]
B1 Aquos Skyress $15–$30 [7]
Haos Cobrakus $20–$35 [7]
Dragonoid Colossus set $20–$60 [6]
Maxus Dragonoid set $30–$80 [7]
Darkus Titanium Dragonoid $40–$50 [6]
B1 Ventus Skyress $60–$80 [9]
Pyrus Raytheus $30–$100 (“not much data”) [8]
Haos Hynoid $150–$500 (“not much data, TBD”) [8]

Where people disagreed, we say so. In one thread a commenter said the last Titanium Dragonoids on eBay sold for around $150 but doubted that number. Another put it nearer $100 [9]. That’s a good example of why one sale isn’t a price.

The grail tier

The famous “full metal” Neo Dragonoid, a limited employee/tournament piece, turned up in a $4,000 eBay listing in 2025. A commenter said the most recent one had sold for around $1,800 [10]. We couldn’t verify that sale, so treat it as an anecdote.

Tier 3: Asking prices (not sales)

You’ll see huge numbers on eBay and Marketplace for “rare” Bakugan. Collectors in the threads above repeatedly point out that listings aren’t sales [8][10]. Always filter to sold items.

What makes an old Bakugan valuable?

  • Rarity and variants. Translucent, clear or limited pieces (like the Krakenoid and metal Dragonoid above) sit far above common releases [5][10].
  • Region. Japan-only BakuTech pieces can carry a premium [5].
  • Completeness. Sets with every part, like the Maxus Dragonoid combiner, are priced as sets [7]. Games with case and manual sell above loose copies [1].
  • Sealed packaging. New/sealed games consistently beat loose copies on PriceCharting [1][2].
  • Condition. Springs that still pop, magnets that work, no paint wear. Collectors in these threads ask about condition before giving any number.
  • The code doesn’t matter. Gundalian Invaders codes stopped working when Bakugan Dimensions closed in 2011. See Bakugan Codes.

How to check a value yourself (5 minutes)

  1. Identify the exact piece: name, attribute (color), G-Power printed inside, and series. Our Bakugan cards, Gundalian Invaders and Combat Set pages help.
  2. Search eBay for it, then turn on Sold items in the filters. Ignore active listings.
  3. Look at 5 to 10 recent sales in the same condition (loose vs. sealed, complete vs. missing parts).
  4. For video games, check PriceCharting, which tracks sold data by condition.
  5. Still unsure? Post clear photos on r/bakugantoys. Collectors there regularly give value checks [6].

Selling or buying?

Bundles of common Bakugan usually sell better as lots than one by one. Pull out anything rare, sealed or complete to list separately. For trading tips, see Buying and Trading Bakugan.

FAQ

Are old Bakugan worth anything?
Most common classic figures go for roughly $4–$15 each, based on collector estimates [7]. Rare variants can reach hundreds, and in documented cases more [5][10].

What is the most valuable Bakugan?
The highest figures we found are for rare variants like the “full metal” Neo Dragonoid, with an unverified reported sale around $1,800 [10], and a Translucent Mutant Krakenoid reported sold at $800 [5].

How much is the original Bakugan DS game worth?
About $7 loose, $10.66 complete and $26.09 sealed, per PriceCharting on October 29, 2026 [1].

Are B1 (first-release) Bakugan worth more?
Often, yes. Collectors estimate a B1 Ventus Skyress at $60–$80 and a B1 Aquos Skyress at $15–$30 [9][7]. That’s well above most common figures.

Do Battle Gear pieces have value?
Most go for about $4–$20 [8]. Complete sets like Dragonoid Colossus do better [6].

Why don’t you list more prices?
Because we’d rather give you fewer real numbers than made-up ones. Bakugan figure prices aren’t tracked anywhere systematically, so sold listings remain the source of truth.
