I have a question. We ordered a "Gold" tin from toysrus.com, and the description (and picture) appeared to be from earlier tins. Specifically it said that it contained two PEARL bakugan.
What we got shipped was one of these new tins, the Subterra one (which on the packaging looks like it contains metallic gold bakugan, but in fact, based on pictures are actually much less shiny), and I wonder, do these bakugan have any kind of special gameplay like the Pearl bakugan? Because if not, I feel kind of miffed, as my son doesn't have any Pearl bakugan, and this seemed like a neat way to get a couple.
I doubt I will be able to exchange it, even though they falsely advertised the contents, since the item is no longer available on their site. Probably the best I could hope for was a return, but if these new bakugan, despite not looking as neat (to me anyway) as the pearl ones, still have some kind of unique gameplay, I probably wouldn't bother with a return...
