Easy strategy (tri attributes)
« on: October 21, 2009, 03:16:56 PM »
What you need--
A Pyrus/Subterra bakugan (any gpower is fine)
A decent bakugan in the attribute that's highest on its gate
And your leonidas

A card that uses the attribute triangles (Aquos, Pyrus and Haos Combo or Ventus, Subterra, and Darkus combo)
A 'prevention' card
and any red card (I prefer a battle re-do card that changes the minigame)

A gold gate that matches one of your bakugan (NOT The ST or Pyrus)
Any silver
Any Copper

For the example, well use...

Darkus Leo 670
Subterra Manion 550
Ventus Ravenoid 550

Prevention
Timing Battle Re-do
ST, Ventus, and Darkus combo

Leonidas
[insert silver card here, to lazy to check]
Down For the count

Turn one, set the gate for Leonidas. Roll your Leo on your gate (if there are any Max S.Power coins, be sure to pick one up). Make sure the opponent lands on their card.

T2, use the ST or pyrus Special throw, make sure to critical KO the opponent. Then, they land on your card with whatever they use. (unless, of course, they set a gate, then they'll go for that.) If they land on a different gate, then roll ravenoid onto it. If it's a minigame you're not good at, then change it with the re-do card. Let them activate the AC first, if they have one. If it gets dangerosly close to the end, activate the ability. If the battle's on your Gold gate, play prevention.

So, you SHOULD be at two gates by now. Set 'down for the count' and roll a Sub-terra onto it. The opponent will be unable to play abilities while you can stll do so, unless they're Sub-terra as well. Activate the Combo card you're using and beat the 'infinity sign' minigame. You should have won by now.

If not, then... Well, do whatever you can to win.

Good luck~

two things, this doesn't work against battle axe valad, and the tracing battle is one of the hardest (right up there with bound and turn).

Trace/Bound/Turn are actually really easy if you have the game actually on your DS...

Trace sounds easy either way. But yeah the computer makes the touch screen use so much harder. I was playing Star Force Pegasus and I had to click these bubbles ("balance markers") fast enough to stay on the bull, my god it was hard to move the mouse and click that fast. And I was on a laptop BUT I BEAT IT!

An easy strategy would be to use the "Swap" red Ability cards, such as the Darkus Swap, letting you swap G's with your opponent if you have a Darkus Bakugan.

The point is, it can be pulled off in a pinch when you need it. I always select a red ability even if I don't need it just in case I might. But anyways, the strategy is if you're losing or at the point of losing and the time is close to ending, you play the Swap card reversing the meter giving you the bigger bar and your opponent the small bar just as the timer runs out. Its helped me out before and I think its an okay strategy given the right circumstances.

Hmm I don't remember that part of SF1 (must have been the Taurus Fire area Taurus IS the bull constellation and Taurus alone (or waved changed an in controll of Bud) sure acts like a bull. :P Whoops almost confused it with an ox lol (thank goodness for wikipedia :D )) anyway, the cards seem to be different in the console versions, instead of the combo cards you can get these two cards where if your opponent's bakugan is one of the 3 that isn't powered up by the card. o.O

PS. Bud's last name that makes it obvious he's Taurus Fire, (I mean come on Bison, and Taurus is a bull?) The rest are not so obvious.
