Hex cards wording from N series
« on: July 04, 2009, 08:55:54 AM »
I was hoping to get some input on how to treat the wording on these cards, as depending on the wording, it could make a fair difference on how a battle turns out...

For instance, here is the first line of the "Ventus Hex" card:

"Play after you win a battle with a Ventus Bakugan by more than 100 G-Power. Your opponent's Bakugan is enslaved and may not be rolled. ..."

Does this work for the person PLAYING a Ventus Bakugan (I usually roll Ventus, so if I roll, stand, and win said battle), or playing AGAINST a Ventus Bakugan (such as hubby playing and winning a battle against me with his Darkus Bakugan)... or maybe even both?

Interested to hear everyone's thoughts.

I was wondering this, but I don't know. I would guess both, or maybe if you have one. I really doubt it means your opponent.

It says WITH meaning when you use a Ventus. Also if you read the rest of the card it only makes sense if it's your Bakugan over 100, otherwise it really doesn't make sense.

2 Factors, Your Bakugan has to be Ventus and You must win the battle by more than 100g.

He's saying, if you win with a ventus bakugan in in the battle could be one way it can be implied.

what about on a low bridge type card? could you use the card to enslave his bakugan? if you one for intance on needles eye 330 and 670 would less count as winning by more?
