January 23rd, 2009 - After a break from Bakugan I finally got around to picking up a bunch of B2 guys at Walmart - Pyrus Tentaclear, Pyrus Beestriker, Pearl Haos Tentaclear, Darkus Reaper, Aquos Rattleoid, a Starter with Ventus Beestriker, haos Tentaclear and a Clear El Condor (score!), and a really nice Battle pack including a couple of the harder to find guys - a Subterra Wormquake, Aquos Diablo Preyas, Pyrus Hydranoid, Haos Limulus, Ventus Serpenoid and Subterra Hammer Gorem.  Hey atleast the "duplicates" I got were of different G-powers than I already had.


January 24th, 2009 - Went out to a different area today and scored at a TRU - Clear Saurus, Pearl Ventus Beestriker and an Aquos Sirenoid with 630G (whee!). I also saw a booster containing a Clear El Condor, but since I already got it in the 3 pack the other day I didn't bother. Plus the sticker wasn't put on right, I could clearly see it was 500G compared to my 580G. Interesting. Glad I got that 3 pack then even though it contained bakugan I already had, at least they were Bakugan I REALLY like. XP.

Nope. I only picked one B2 Reaper up. I could go back and see if they still have them, but in the chance that I do find one, what would you have for trade? I'm a hard one to please, lol. Just PM me about a trade though, don't post it here, thanks. Or I'll just look at your trades topic, and get back to you, duh.

February 2nd, 2009 - Went out today, but nothing special. Saw a few of the new starters, one including the Subterra El Condor I want, but opted for a smaller purchase instead since i just bought $30 worth of Ben 10 key chains.  So I got a Pearl Aquos Sirenoid 480G instead, the green version.

Spectre,
Have you seen the new Aquos Preyas character packs at TRU and Target?  It has a Preyas figure with a B2 Preyas (Not Preyas II Diablo) bakugan in the same pack.  They are cool because I'm so used to seeing preyas as a smaller bakugan.  I've seen them at several places and when I told my son he was livid that I didn't buy one for him... lol.  Didn't know if you knew about these or had seen them.  There are a bunch on Ebay, just do a search for B2 aquos preyas... :)

I've seen the Target one, but I keep missing the regular character packs!! (curse you skyress)

I have been DYING to get one of the B2 Preyas'. I agree - he's so flippin' cool! Problem is all the ones I've seen have had incredibly bad paint jobs, hence why he's not in my collection yet. Seriously, they're THAT bad.
I also had difficulty finding the G's on it tho... They put it on the top of the "lid" rather than on his back. I hated they kept changing the G placement on the Hydranoids too.

But seriously, thanks, I haven't forgotten... XD

Yeah, I haven't seen him yet, but I' m leaning more towards the Target one, since I have a billion of those little figs, and only one of the bigger ones form the Duo Diorama sets... and hey, the Target one has the eyes painted on!

Speaking of paint...does that regular character pack fig have it's teeth or eyes painted, or am I just seeing things form a bad photo? Meh doesn't matter, I've already painted all my smaller Preyas. I can't stand the default cheapo paint jobs.

There is one on ebay by a seller called "lizlindercollection" or something like that which has a pretty good photo.  Too lazy too search at the moment though...

Well I meant the mini fig not the marbles, and it looks like the eyes and teeth are painted on the mini fig.
Either way, that B2 Preyas pic you pointed me to is nice, looks better than the bad paint-jobbed ones I've been seeing.

All of the b2 preyas i see are put together terrible. The "halves" dont line up and there are gaps and one piece look bigger than the other and....... Pretty shoddy workmanship

I've noticed the same on some of the newer B1 special attack series too. S'why I'm still missing  Pearl E-Change Haos & Aquos Preyas... never saw one I liked... But the B2's are really worse, I've seen some that looks like they tried to paint, but missed a spot or it got scraped in production) and tried to cover it up with a new batch of paint that doesn't color match... @_@. it's mostly the mouths.

Ah the trials and tribulations of being a Preyas collector, eh? I remember when this all first started... I was like... "okay I need 6 guys, that should be easy"... so I started getting other ones.. XP.

February 3rd, 2009 -  Been rough around here for new Bakugan styles. I'm seeing plenty of the old stuff... meaning nothing I want. However I did find the Subterra El Condor (650G), Pyrus Tentaclear(450G), and Darkus Fortress (370G) and picked it up. yay!
I'm wondering what Bakugoodies I might find at the TRU in Times Square this weekend.
