Kingdom Hearts: The Keyblade War

[Seiki]

A Kingdom hearts RP that takes place about 25 years before Birth By Sleep.

Bakground story: Long ago, before Sora saved the worlds from the Heartless, before Aqua, Terra, and Ventus trained under Master Eraqus, Keyblade Masters of both light and dark from across the worlds fought for control of the legendary x-blade capable of controlling Kingdom Hearts, the heart of all worlds.

The Keyblade is special tool said to have saved the worlds and wrought ruin upon them. Keyblades may be used to form Gliders to travel.

This story does not neccessarily follow canon as the exact history behind the keyblade War is unknown.

Light or Dark will determine good or evil, dark is the only one capable of teleporting through portals.
The secondary element determines the element of your attacks. ie: Fire can use Mega Flare. The secondary element can be light or dark, but you cannot have characters with both elements.
For Type, you can choose amny thigns, but for this most characters should use a Keyblade as other weapon types can't leave their world.

Keyblade weilders of light start at Land of Departure. Of Dark start at Traverse Town. Non-Keyblade weilders may be at Twilight Town, Radiant Garden, or Destiny Islands.

lol, I'ma post here latter (I'll just edit this post) so i can read through your post and get a feel for the story

I should pretty much be back and am ready to begin whenever.
I did set up the order in which we will be visiting the worlds.
We will start at Land of Departure. Though the story will focus on a somewhat small group, it must be recognized that there are MANY other Keyblade weilders running about the worlds as the story progresses.

Since I deleted my post that contained this to avoid double post:
The main plot is that a set of twins, one with a heart of pure light, the other of pure dark, are discovered and the bad guys try to use them to make the x-blade to control Kingdom Hearts. The good guys try to stop them taking the battle to various worlds.

As a heads up. Worlds do not generally know of the existence of other worlds and are not to be told of them to protect the world order. Only a handful are aware. When we start a new world, I'll let you know if it knows or not.

lol, Well for the Light Keyblade weilder his home is Land of Departure.
Dark ones are Traverse Town.

I suppose we can start then.

(Note: Only Keyblade Weilders of light live in Land of Departure, no one else. They know of other worlds. Seiki, Hoshi, and Aaron have met. Just as Toki, Rikka, and Glacia know each other. However the former three haven't met the latter three.)

Chapter 1: Land of Departure
It is a calm early night throughout the castle perched atop a mountain. Many Keyblade weilders of light are relaxing or training, some of the younger ones for their Mark of Mastery exam. Everyone seems happy. Two Keyblade masters, Seiki and Hoshi, are sitting together on a bench overlooking the landscape of the world they call home while watching the stars. The two are holding hands.
"They say, every star out there is another world." says Seiki.
"It's rather amazing. I've heard there's a world out there completely underwater." says Hoshi.
"And another is said to have fairies that let you fly." says Seiki.
Hoshi smiles. "I'd love to go there."

(ok 1) how old are you? 2) am I a "keyblade master" also? 3) since my secondary element is air do I like float or something? lol)

2: If you want to be. Just be like over 15.)
3: You can via the ability "Super Glide" if you want it. Just as Hoshi has the ability "Teleport".

Hoshi leaned over and nestled her head on Seiki's shoulder as the two continued to gaze out at the sky. Some of the other people began heading inside the castle to go to bed.

*Aaron comes slowly floating up. he steps onto the balcony and looks up at the too. He gets startled and almost falls off the balcony backwards.*
Aaron: "I'm sorry, am I disturbing something? he begins to step off.*

(That's exactly what Super Glide is. You usually get it at Neverland in the games and it lets you hover around, but your height decreases after so long, so you can't fly everywhere all the time. Another ability you might be interested in is Doubleflight. It would allow you to jump higher than any other character.
I have an idea. You aren't a Master yet, but you will be by the end of the chapter.

We are currently set to visit 33 Worlds with 1 world visited twice. These numbers are subject to grow.)


Hoshi and Seiki look behind them. Hoshi sits up a little.
"Oh, hi Aaron." says Seiki.
"No, you're not interrupting anything." says Hoshi.
"Are you excited for your Mark of Mastery exam tomorrow?" asks Seiki.
"It's getting a little late, you might want to go on to bed to have enough rest for the exam." says Hoshi.
"The exam isn't anything to take lightly." says Seiki.
"We were actually just about to turn in." says Hoshi

(going with the flow o.O lol)

Aaron: "a crud... *he facepalms and drags his hand down his face* I completely forgot... I can pass it though. No problem! I think..."
*he sits on the edge and prepares to float back down*
Aaron: "i'd better get a little practice in and then get to sleep. See you guys around!" *he jumps off*

(I have no clue what to do at the exam thing.. do I just fight someone or something? like i said.. going with the flow atm )

[Seiki]

(The exam will be fully explained when the time comes, but yes, it's a fight, sorta, you don't really need to win it to pass though.)

"Hey, Aaron, wait. If you'd like, we could help you train with a short battle." says Seiki.
"You can choose which of us you want to fight." says Hoshi.

(Note: Seiki and Hoshi have highly different fighting styles. Seiki will go easy, but give little chance to hit him, Hoshi may try to kill you.)

(what. hoshi will try to kill me in a practice battle, AND we're friends? harsh)

Aaron: "yeah, I guess that could be helpful. I'd rather fight seiki though, don't feel like getting killed at the moment" *he smiles*

[Seiki]

(It's nothing personal, it's her fighting style. It just means that she's highly agreesive and does  alot of close-range. Seiki is the exact opposite. He does long-range mostly and is alot less aggressive.
I was hoping you'd choose Seiki. *Evil smile* This just means you have to fight Hoshi for your exam.)

"Alright then." says Seiki.
He gets up from the bench and stands about a foot from Aaron. Hoshi stays at the bench but turns around to watch without being in the way. Seiki holds out his hand. In a small flash of light his keyblade, Low Key, appears in his grasp. The blade appears to be moddled somewhat after a piano with piano keys decorating the teeth of the key and the strings of a piano making up the body. Seiki points his keyblade up.
"Echo." Seiki says softly.
A burst of sound energy erupts from where Seiki is standing pushing everything within range away from him.

*Aaron takes out his keyblade. It looks mechanical with gears and such lining it. it is a nice silver with green highlights.*
*Aaron holds his keyblade out*
Aaron: "gust"
*the wind sweeps through and collides with seiki's echo*

[Seiki]

(Attacks can't normally be used to block other attacks uunless both are physical. That's what defenses are for. Block, Barrier, Dodge Roll, etc. It's ok though.
I probably should explain attacks about now. They are divided into Physical and Magic. Both should be self-explanatory. Base spells include Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Cure, Aero, Stop, Gravity, Magnet, and Reflect. Physical includes Raid-type attacks such as Strike Raid among other things such as Sliding Dash or just smacking in the face. )

Seiki points his keyblade forward.
"Soundproof." he says.
The tip of his blade glows a little. A giant dome of greenish energy expands to encompass the entire field.
"No more Magic for awhile." says Seiki. "Echo-Raid."
Seiki throws his keyblade at Aaron. Upon reaching him, a burst of energy knocks Aaron back a bit.

(Note: In case it wasn't obvious, Soundproof prevents Magic from being used. Only Physical attacks can be done.)
