A hook to make it light up. Rather odd and unheard of. A couple of possibilities I can think of.
1: Is this a McDonald's toy? In which case, this is a cheaper version of a Bakugan.
2: I've seen something like a Bakugan-flashlight before. I question if this is one of them.

Either way, I have a feeling the hook isn't intended to stay attached to the Bakugan but rather act as a key to activate the light-up feature.

If it doesn't open or close, this isn't a true Bakugan.

Seiki has a point. Also, it doesn't look like an actual Bakugan that's been released.

EDIT: Just to help a little more, I made a blog about this "Bakugan" on the Bakugan Wikia so I can see what the members on there think. Just saying.

(Sorry for double-posting.)

Apparently, these kinds of Bakugan have been around since Season One, I believe, since there's one of these of the Season One Bakugan Fear Ripper (from what I've been told anyway). From what I've been told, they're also Bakugan mostly from Season Two. I also learned that they're available at Toys R Us and that they're like flashlights. I got all of this information from the comments of the blog I made on Bakugan Wikia. Link to the blog: http://bakugan.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Valentin_98/Flashlight_Bakugan%3F!

EDIT: I found out that they're called Morph Lites. They're light-up Bakugan key chains.

I had a feeling it was one of the key-chain flashlights. I've seen many of those. I'm wondering if that's what the hook is for. That somehow it is meant to stay attached to the "Bakugan" forming the key-ring in which to use it as a key-chain.

It appears to be Viper Helios. I actually have an Aquos version. But the normal Bakugan, not the Morph Lite.

It's not a Beyblade. The previous posts in this this prove it's a Bakugan product. -_-"'

All our mods left. We need either BJ or a new mod. Either way we need BJ.

One of the 4-D ones methinks. I heard those ones did some fancy futuristic type things. Like lights.
