You can't use the older cards when playing GI rules since they lack power levels. There are also much better card choices out there. First point would be that "Teamwork: Ventus" is a Pyrus support card, not Haos. The only time this would be used on a Haos Bakugan is when the team consists of 1 Pyrus, 1 Ventus, and 1 Haos Bakugan. If you wanted a 100 G-Power point boost you can easily get it without needing other attribute Bakugan by using a "Launcher" card or whatever the Haos variant of "Turn Around" is. Obviously the "Launchers" would be better since they have additional effects. Wind Shutdown is a completely situational card, you'll need to know your opponent is using Ventus before the battle even starts, before you even make your deck. There are much better Green cards to use out there. All of this means that this deck just won't work out at all since its much too inefficient. Thats after of course bending the rules to allow NV cards in GI. It needs a lot of revising to be playable.

@ Yoshipatrol - That's basically saying that all of the GI Cards have Power Levels when they don't. -_-"'

They do though, some just have a power level of 0. Do you really suspect that using something such as Ventus or Haos 2 (disregard the rulings/effects for a second) would be fair with a power level of 0? They even remade some cards giving them power levels. There was that one card that doubled a Pyrus Bakugan's G-Power for the next battle, essentially the Coredem card, but obviously it has no power level while the Coredem ability's power level is 4 which means it's more than likely to be the last card to be played. To further back up the point, the Coredem card is pretty limited in use whereas if they had re-invented the card to be used with Pyrus Bakugan, it'd need a power level of 5 to even be fair since its an automatic win unless on lowest G wins cards. I'm not sure that the card was removed from play either so if you could retrieve it using a Battle Gear effect it'd be even more broken. This is why they brought power levels into play in the first place, to help even out the game while being able to create any kind of abilities they wanted to.

Just give up Yoshi, he thinks this startegy is perfect when everyone knows it isn't and he'll  argue with you if you say it isn't. Even if you have proof and he doesn't.

Still into Pokemon? Competitive play could suit your needs. Lots of strategical things there.

Yeah a little bit but there's not much I can do with it. I got the Serperior deck anyway although they're probably on the next set by now. I was thinking about going back into it but I'm not sure.

Lol the VG metagame is a joke. Its just the same people using the same Pokemon and whenever someone tries to utilize something different, Smogon bitches about it and takes a good portion of the fanbase with them. The best I could hope for is making a Hail team but then once Smogon starts banning Abomasnow it'll just be the same process over and over again.

Why go with Smogon rules? They may be the most popular competitive site but doesn't mean we have to follow their rules in other places. I don't. BTW, I got messed up by a hail team earlier today on Pokemon Online. I didn't think they were so effective. Not anymore!

That rarely happens to me when I use mine. Not everyone is like that. Try "Pokemon online".
