You din't forfeit Thestalos, pyrus98 is being a N00B. He thinks that since both Dharak and AirKor are black that he can choose either effect on the reference card, which is incorrect. The Attribute (not color) of the GEAR and the GATE CARD must match for you to be able to use either effect. His Gear is GOLD and the card is SILVER. So pyrus98 does NOT take away your Attribute bonus, and if he refuses to finish the brawl because he got caught cheating then he's forfeiting to you and you get a win.
So Thestalos is at 1000g, and pyrus98 is at 850g. CONTINUE.
