Really?  I would've said the user only.  I mean, your cards are supposed to benefit you only, unless otherwise specified....
If an enemy had a higher gate bonus, what the heck good is the card?

Gatecards are designed to target both player's Bakugan.

You do not play a dragonoid character and expect only your dragonoid to get the additional gate bonus. The bonus can be used by your opponent as long as the conditions are met which is playing a dragonoid or any dragonoid evolution on the gatecard.

Forget the gate cards.
I meant cards like strong winds blow, and the battle turbine reference...
I had numerous arguments with strong winds blow at baku-con, and the end result was always the user getting the gate bonus twice only.
