The reason I object to the bits jutting out is that typical Bakugan up until now have had parts jutting out. It seemed unnatural to me then and it seems unnatural to me now especially since they are growing in number.
As for the parts jutting out to make the high G's fair, I have three words for you: QUAKE. DRAGONOID. EVOLUTION.

Did they mess up the coloring of these, cause they look different.
I have 3 Haos Lumagrowls and none of them look like the left Bakugan (accent-wise) so IMO he most likely painted in a few areas where it needed it to make it look better, or it's simply a different factory code. Anyway, I personally enjoy the little bits, like V said they keep the magnet facing down when spin-rolling.
