battle gear you mean?

It works like traps but you have to susceed putting it on the bakugan, if it opens, add the G-power of your Gears to your bakugan. Battle Gear abilities....

Someone please explain the cards...

I thought it's used depends on what Attributes of bakugan you added the Gears on.

do you have to use it with bakugan of the same attribute   and is the abbility card based on yourbakugan or gear's attribute   plus can you only use it with bakugan with those things on ther backs   plus can you use them alone as a bakugan

There's nothing official yet, but common sense would dictate

No you do not have to use it with a Bakugan of the same Attribute as Battle Gear do not have the same Attributes as Bakugan do.

The ability cards affect 2 Attributes each, and can only be used if your Bakugan (not your Battle Gear as they don't have normal Attributes) is one of the Attributes the card applies to.

Yes, you can only use them on Bakugan that they can connect to.

No you cannot use them alone.

This is all simply IMO as there's nothing official yet, but I'm relatively certain they'll do it like this.

Stupid question time, do they have a magnet on the bottom of them or do the pegs on the GI Bakugan trigger their opening mechanism?

They have a magnet, because if you look in the translucent GIs with the pegs, they have a second magnet in them for opening up the gear.

Okay, so since they do have a magnet that means they probably can be used on any Bakugan, but they'll probably only let you use either a Trap or a Battle Gear IMO.

wut about  the cards do those count as a seperate color  or  wut  cuz  i hav one of em  and waant  to beet  my friends with  it

Maybe they're seperated with the old cards. The game may uses cards with a red, a blue, a green and a gear card.

I didn't see you guys post this but, the Gears have their own Attributes, Gold, Silver and Copper. Not only can you activate the Ability on their reference card because you are of the correct Attribute. BUT! You can also activate it if the Gear Attribute is the same as the Gate color. Such as a Gold Gear on a Gold Gate, it would allow you to choose and use any of the 2 Abilities that the reference card has. Correct me if I'm wrong.
