/18j series?
« on: February 06, 2010, 09:28:16 PM »
I was hangin' out with a friend/Baku-Con finalist, and he had a card called Warm Gate. It was bronze, no effect, 13/18j. He got it with a Subterra BakuMutation Wired 770g off eBay. IMO the card's legitimacy is questionable (it's got an '08 copyright...), but I'd like to know a little more before jumping to conclusions. Anyone know anything about this?

-Thanks in advance, DB

Hmm a seller actually gave away cards with newer Bakugan? I don't think anyone can say anything on it as it looks like SM just skipped to GI. Bronze with no text sounds weird enough though...

I think it's one of those fake gates obi mentioned....Seeing the card, I don't think it's legit.
I found the pic from some guy in mexico who was selling it on ebay...

The cards are not fake. These cards came from the BakuCore series that was target for international markets. Let me pull a picture of a starter pack I got from walmart.

The cards in the stater had no ability which was strange.

Also DB, I'm just gonna point out that ALL cards have a 2008 copyright. HSPs are an exception, they have ©2006.

O...M...G... Was that the exact starter you got? If so, any chance you're looking for the Pyrus and Haos Flip Tin Bakugan? I'd trade all 4 for the Reaper and Fear Ripper...

On-Topic: Thanks for the info Ry, now I can tell him what it's from. @SN: I didn't know that lol, thanks. I guess I should pay more attention to the cards...
